Jacques Ellul – A Look at the Year 2000 (1954/1964)

From The Technological Society, Chapter VI: A Look at the Future. First published as La technique ou l'enjeu du siècle in 1954, the English translation by John Wilkinson of 1964 included revisions by Ellul such as this final chapter. Ted Kaczynski had famously read the text several times, and a copy was found in his cabin.
