421. Lancaster Finale & Tewitfield Locks visit

On the last day of our cruise, we return the boat to Barton Grange Marina and visit the abandoned Tewitfield Locks, where the canal was truncated in1968, by the coming of the M6 Motorway.

This is a cruise on the Lancaster Canal or 'The Lanky' as it is fondly known, which is not connected to the main canal network, but between April and September can be accessed via the 'Ribble Link', which opened in 2002.
