Conquian is awesome. I guess there’s different ways to play. Here’s 5 things I do differently. Try it like this, this is how we play in Mexico
1. can play with 2-4 players
2. Play with 7 to win with 8 or play with 8 to win with 9
3. Before first card draw, each player has to switch 1 card with opponent(s). The card must be given face down and the opponent can not see it until he/she gives their card
4. If drawn cards run out you can reshuffle. There is no ties
5. First draw card can be taken from top OR bottom of deck. Only first draw card though
You get dealt 9 cards each and win with 10 cards
ОтветитьWith 3 players 9 cards must be dealed to each player and wins with 10, with 2 players 10 card must be dealed to each players and win with 10. This is what i know.
Ответитьbullshit! I am HONDURAN and we play with 7 cards on hand to make 9. Make same suit down or up like 7,8,9, or 9,8,7. or make pairs with same numbers like 4,4,4, or 9,9,9,. jacks, queen , and kings are played as 10,11,12. in pairs or suit. The ace can be a wild card, only if everyone agrees to the terms beforehand. But the ace can only be used as a wild card as a one or over the King. That is my Honduran way to play. Now the rules have changed here in America, but the game is so fun.
ОтветитьThis is otherwise called as Rummy
ОтветитьWe play with 8 to win with 9, and you can play with up to 4 players. The 4th player plays with the first 8 discarded cards. Other than that you are spot on. 👍...another thing we do is if you are able to meld A23 or 123...you win double of what ever you are betting on. Could be 2kicks on the ass, 2 kisses, or 2 beers.🤪😂😂😂
Ответить8 cards dealt win with 9
ОтветитьI haven’t played this since my Nan passed away so I just needed a kick to remember the rules. Thanks
ОтветитьCan you please make a video of conquian strategies?
ОтветитьMy mexican father taught me this and I like watching videos about it i play everyday
ОтветитьInvest in spanish cards
ОтветитьThe way me and my family play it is that your dealt 14 cards and you need to have a total of 51 before you can start placing pairs where you take one card at the start of your turn and discard one at the end
ОтветитьIs this only for 2 Players?
ОтветитьCan u give the opponent the winning card if u want to? I know ppl wouldnt do that but what if u just want the game to end? And i mean the winning card from ur hand?
ОтветитьCan u play with 4 players?
ОтветитьWe play it with the cards from 1-10 instead of 1-7,J,Q,K. Just to make the game less confusing in making sequence. In using a Spanish Deck we only remove the Horse and the King instead of removing 8&9.
Ответитьalso a player can be forces into a "10 card hold" if lets say they spread A-K there's no other way to win.
plus, there's switching between melds, as long as you still have at least 3 in all.
He didn’t show how to do cuts with your hand
1)If your hand has a sequence and you put it down let’s say you have a 3,4,5 of spades and you have two other 5’s in your hand if you draw a 2 of spades you can put it in the sequence and take out the 5 that was in sequence and pair it with the other two 5’s
2)now let’s say you had the same sequence as before but this time wit only one other 5 in your hand, if you were to draw a 2 of spades you can put it in your sequence but you have to throw a card out and you keep playing until another 5 pops up and you can use the 5 in the sequence the 5 you drew and the 5 you have in your hand to make a pair of 3
Note: keep in mind the cuts you can make with the cards in your hand and the cards that you have laid down but make sure if you make a cut that you still have a card so that it’s still got 3 cards in the sequence/pair
Can we use 7 and Jack with 6 and Queen
ОтветитьAin’t it 9 to get 10?
ОтветитьWhy would player 2 discard the ace of♠️ if he could meld it with the 2,3,4,5 of♠️?I don’t understand that.
ОтветитьMy mexican father refuses to teach me bc he’s afraid I’ll develop an “addiction” but yet when i play with my cousins, he scolds me for not knowing how to play and always losing.
ОтветитьThat was by far THE GREATEST and most concise card video I have ever seen! Hats off to you! Thank you!
ОтветитьPlaying with the Spanish deck seems more "traditional" and cool because they look so different. The French-suited cards are used here. Très cool de todos modos!
ОтветитьWe do 9 cards, win with 10 when it’s 1-3 players & less when it’s more players (1-5) so there’s enough cards! 🃏 We do a blind switch of a card with the player to your right before the game starts & you win double the wager if you can get A23 in your game! We call it “Ganar con viejo” idk why lol 😂
ОтветитьCan you use a drawn card and a discarded card in the same play?
ОтветитьActual conquian is deal 8 win with 9
Ответитьwhy would he show his 3 js an idiot
ОтветитьI'm sooo lost ..I'll try to learn 😭
ОтветитьI remember my childhood buddy’s family were big on this game at parties. They used to make parties almost weekly and the men would set up multiple tables in the back yards when they had many 🤠🤠🤠🤠wanting in, and would play into the early mornings. A couple of them would pause to dance with their ladies then get back to the game.
ОтветитьCan you meld into another player's hand?
ОтветитьBro I’m so confused currently sitting at my friends house watching him play and I still don’t get it hopefully this video helps
ОтветитьHow many other poor guys besides me were brought here because of Google's own silly girl silliness?? 😅😝
ОтветитьIs this rome
ОтветитьCan a player use the card you threw down to make you throw again ?
ОтветитьWhat's this game called in english
ОтветитьDoes anyone know of a game called full house where you have 3 piles of money and you need one match of pairs to win one pile and another pair to win the middle and you have to have a full house to win the last pile of money. If so where is a good tutorial on how to play or what is the actual name to find it.
ОтветитьIts played with Spanish cards lil bro.
ОтветитьMi tio me enseño como jugar con baraja española
ОтветитьWhat
ОтветитьFor me i play a little different. You start of with 8 cards. And the goal is to have 9.
ОтветитьLove this game..my oldheads taight me
Ответитьcan you play this with more than 2 players?
ОтветитьWow, turns out we play this game MUCH differently.
Each deck uses all 56 cards, and each player is delt 14 cards.
Players cannot being freely melding cards until they create enough pairings that equal to a score of (at least) 51 (2-9 cards give their respective amounts of points, while Aces, 10's, and all royal cards equate to 10 points).
Once a player can meld enough for a score of 51, they can start to meld and add cards freely.
The player can choose whether they want to discard their drawn card, or any other card they don't need.
The game is won when a player uses up all their cards. The rule of needing to have at least 11 melded cards placed does not apply, but by the time you finish you will have most likely melded much more than 11 cards.
Again, wildly different, but incredibly fun. It's like old-school uno!!!
Forgot to mention: We also use Joker cards for a "stand in" for any cards we want to make a melding with. The trade-off is that if your opponent has the card your Joker is standing in for, they can replace the Joker with the actual card, allowing for them to use the Joker as they want.
I've played with 8 cards and I've played with 3 people and I've played without removing anything but jokers. Very versatile game. My wife taught me I love it.
ОтветитьHe also didn’t have to drop the 3 Js after he dropped the three 2s. you’re just giving more information to the other player or players on what isn’t left in the deck
ОтветитьLiterally the MOST ADDICTIVE game I've ever played. I'm from a Syrian family, everyone everywhere plays it. It's the easiest way to inteoduce someone to a family as well as breaking the ice 😂😂
ОтветитьI got a hypothetical, so if its my uncles turn and he has a play in his deck, he decides to put his game down and discard a card without drawing a card. Its 8 cards 9 cards to win. is he in the wrong for discarding a card and not drawing a card. i thought the rules were you only discard a card if a card enters in your deck?
Ответитьmy people do 2-4 players we play with 9, win with 10. we all trade a card at the beginning of the game and then drawing starts. we use 8-10 from the deck of cards as well.
-Honduran
