What was your pole spacing and fence height? Looks nice
ОтветитьThe old boys just pull it tight with the tractor
Ответить800 fence section!
ОтветитьYour wife is really cute. Is she single?
ОтветитьAlso curious. Is the "let the wire rest" a real thing or code for "me and the wife went and had dinner"
ОтветитьMan. Wish I had a tractor to do this. I just manhandled my rolls of wire.
ОтветитьExcellent😅❤😊
ОтветитьIs this better/cheaper than t posts and barbed wire?
ОтветитьOnce saw a deer hurdle one of those things while out door knocking for solar.
The deer clipped the top of it and busted its ass 😂😂
Never laughed so hard
My first thought is to weave that wire fence between posts. Is that wrong?
ОтветитьWhere's the t post ?
ОтветитьLong spans
ОтветитьWhat wood?
ОтветитьWay to go we are proud of you
ОтветитьGreat work!! May both of you stay healthy!!!
ОтветитьYa those 330' rolls are no joke. I have 1300' to lay in a few weeks
ОтветитьBeautiful, there is something about a fence that gets done right. What’s the saying, yeh, chefs kiss!
ОтветитьWhy not use tractor
ОтветитьWell you don't want to stretch it tight enough that those little up and down curves in the top and bottom wires straighten out. I don't remember what they're called, maybe tension curves?
Ответить222
ОтветитьNice 🎉
ОтветитьYou can get quality woven fence too tight
ОтветитьNice!
ОтветитьFence people🙄
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьNo climb horse fence
ОтветитьNo barbed wire on top ?
ОтветитьNice job. Glad you included the “let it rest” part. Some don’t know to do that.
ОтветитьIm a fence installer. And it is possible to over stretch it to where it breaks but it is extremely unlikely because it takes an unreasonable about of force
ОтветитьWell done. Remember... don't anchor a fence to a live tree. 😉
ОтветитьYou're lucky to have modern machinery. I replaced 100s of meters of old barbed wire fence over uneven fields, steep ridges and through bush. I had to carry the 50 m rolls on my shoulder and dig many new post holes with only a post digging bar. Our posts need to be cut from live trees and carried to location by mule or on shoulder.
I'm not bragging. That's just the way it is here in the DR. I'd much rather do it your way! 😂😂😂
Good job ❤
ОтветитьYes an while your at it go head an wire fenc3 to post any way. Or u will be going back an doing it. Later
ОтветитьU have a tractor, why are u using a come along
ОтветитьIf you cut 2 pieces of 1/2" plywood 16" in diameter ( or larger for bigger diameter fence rolls) and drill a 1-1/2" hole so the chain can pass through and put the plywood disc's on each side of the wire roll , it will spin much easier without hanging up on the chain and you won't have to keep kicking it as it un-rolls
ОтветитьLooks tight and good!
ОтветитьWay too much space between the posts. 16' would be wide, 12' would be better. If all you're raising is rabbits, that might be close enough. If you've got bulls, they're gonna walk right through that fence.
ОтветитьWe've done the same thing, and then almost 2yrs. later trees fell on it!
ОтветитьHow far apart are the posts?
ОтветитьExcellent job , holding under lots of tension is perfect especially if it is a cool morning then warming up because that wire will expand.
ОтветитьI'd hire you 😄
ОтветитьFencing isn’t as fun as it looks. 🤠
Ответитьthat's a long time.....
ОтветитьLooks like the video has been speeded up
ОтветитьLook dad stop being so stingy with the staples😂. You guys did a good job with fence . It reminds me when I use to put up fence with my dad good ol days man he was tight on buying those staples.
Ответить*243,84m
Ответить*steeple. Staples are for paper
ОтветитьYou can afford land today?😳😳😳
