Nice, but it needs a comfy seating area. That small sofa/chair with the thin cushions and straight back, doesn’t do it.

at least the lounge section which was U shaped could sit 8 drunks

Seems like a place a commuter could use to stay in for a few days a week, whilst having his family home in a more affordable city.

To posezení u jídla je příliš malé a nepohodlné.. a místo sklápěcí postele by byl lepší rozkládací gauč 🛋s úložným prostorem + stolek + taburet, který by se dal použít i u jídelního stolku

This is the first never too small video which I think is too small. It's a sad little emergency type of accommodation. I personally would hate to live there, even as reasonably designed as it is.

I don't think that plywood works for such old buildings misshaped by time. It's supposed to blend into the walls, but you can see all the uneven corners ( since the wall and ceiling is crooked). Looks like someone tried to help the building with the cosmetics. Like face with wrong color of foundation 😅 i think they should have embraced English style more and implement some storage solutions additionally. But not cover everything in wood ( which i love by the way in the modern, EVEN spaces).

I've been searching plans for my 12m² room to make it big.. one thing I learned is, how windows make big impact to the house.. even it is small, the window matters the most (for me) bcoz its gives the sunlight you needed and air.. but it depends on where the windows were placed

I really appreciate the design. So pleasant and calm yet colorful (oh sorry, colourful). Thicker seat cushions all around and a reclining chair would be needed. Otherwise a perfect design for the space.

Very small and everyone who walks by can see in the windows that are at pedestrian level. I can't imagine spending the pandemic in such a claustrophobic space.

It's really really small, so a Murphy bed is a must. What's clever is the dining area that also creates an enclosed entrance so the rest of the apartment is in sight. It's nice that there are no steps, easy entry from outside. Okay for singles who work long hours, eat out most of the time & cook simple meals. Haven't figured out where the wardrobe is.

I would live in a well designed 140 sq ft flat. Yes hands down. If there's a good window and it gets lots of light I'm good with that. I have lived in a 600 ft flat with few windows and bad lighting and it had a bad layout and it was depressing. I then moved out into a 300 sq ft flat with lots of windows and a good layout and it was great.

The designers do say this is a "laboratory to explore new ideas". It is not really meant to be lived in 24/7 for a long time.

A house? 😂 Nothing interesting about this place there is thousands of efficiencies or small rooms in USA, this place looks like a small RV or caravan I guess you can get pink pillows and put it around your van and build a Murphy bed and call it home.

This looks a bit like a cell that you would found in a dystopian novel where humans are caged and watched by hidden cameras ... the interior design is entirely not up my alley, but it will definitely please others. I always adore these minimalist settings but I myself couldn't live like this (well at least not if I have the privilege to choose).

I live in a similar size place in Brooklyn, NY for almost 17 years. I am very happy, and I plan to stay here. I would just break up the plywood finish with more variety types of materials, such as wicker, or different touches of wood, metal, wall paper, etc. so it doesn’t look so much like a large wall of plywood. Also, the breakfast nook and bench could actually be designed with some adjustments, they might have worked out quite a bit better. These 2 people do amazing work, check out what else they do.

Knowing how humid London is the plywood will eventually get moldy, especially inside those gaps. I think the space is ok as an airbnb but definitely not for long term accomodation.

As a Londoner this project depresses me. The space is too small but it looks about right for a London studio flat. The most depressing thing is the finishes. There are gaps all over the place! It looks so sloppy and the plywood looks cheap, it feels like a grubby children’s nursery space. Nothing is plush or well thought out. The pink is bland, even the cushions are flat and lack lustre. The place was made to be rented so they put no effort into it. I’d say it’s the worst advertisement for their practice.

I see the cleverness in this. I also notice the scuff marks starting to appear on the lower ply surfaces and some issues with the finishes. IMHO in a tiny room like this, the finishes need to be perfect and very durable due to the close proximity of everything
