Kyle Peters is currently pursuing his degree in musical arts at the University of the West Indies. He is committed to excellence and works assiduously to ensure that musical education becomes a staple in the community.
Kyle was introduced to music by his mother, who is a singer and a guitarist, at age 7. He was enrolled at Joseph's School of the Arts where he began playing the cuatro. After mastering this instrument, he made the transition to the guitar. As a student of the late Ashford Joseph, Kyle became proficient at the guitar, and he won several school awards including "Best Male Student" and "Best Guitarist".
During his early school days at Siparia Boys’ R.C., he was chosen for the Republic Bank Pan Minors course at the University of the West Indies.
His versatility can be seen from the number of bands and musicians with which he is involved. He has worked as a “Best Village” tutor, gained a wealth of experience from playing with bands such as “La Divina Pastora Parang Band,” “Destra and Bakanal,” “Ravi B and Karma” and played at various churches.
In 2014, he formed his own band, Vizion, a product focused on providing affordable, enjoyable and versatile live entertainment. The company then expanded in 2017 when he became the co-owner of a music school, Vizion Musiq Academy. Here Kyle has been able to mentor and prepare the minds of many upcoming musicians for the world ahead.
