I started playing Dying Light 2 and for me this seems like an assasin's creed game but with zombies, I never played this kind of "parkour" styled games, so it was a bit weird for me to adapt at first (plus crafting items and such is not my thing as well).

Dying Light 1 is such a masterpiece, like bruh its a game released in 2015

I played both games,......but for me honestly Dying Light 1 was better than Than 2...

DL2 at release was just a massive downgrade from what DL1 offered

I love dying light 2 more, it genuinely gives you the feeling of being a post-apocalyptic "survivor" with a surviving community.

Dying Light 2 I think is a massive improvement, considering even tho there was somethings the players didnt like. For example I didnt like the ragdolls when the game first came out of some of the gameplay elements but they changed them in more favor of the views and I like it. Tbh eveything gampley wise and graphicly wise is amazing....the tho story and the writing of the story is still bad.

Between DL1 and 2, I like 2 more simply because the core gameplay is better. The parkour is significantly smoother with seamless transitions between moves. The environments are so and so between the two games. I think DL 1 utilises the volatiles' threat a bit better. In my opinion it's better for them to always be somewhere around, lurking like the Alien in Alien Isolation, rather than there being like... 7-8 in total on the entire map, more coming out only when there is a chase. I haven't tried the hardest difficulty in 2 yet, but I sincerely hope that there are more of the deadlier critters around by default. It's no fun when I can only run away from them when I specifically enter a chase, which comes down to whether I want to approach a howler intentionally or not. The environment must always be ready to crush me. That's the element I think is lacking a bit in DL2.

idk but one thing is i never stayed out after night in dying light while i dont care if its night or day in dying light 2..... i expected the same in dying light 2 but we got a stepped down version of dying light 1

Dying Light 1 I feel like it’s way better more on the scary side many dark areas that makes it more fun not like Dying Light 2 to bright that it won’t even feel that scary like most zombie survival games should be.

Man when DL2 came out it was ROUGH! Fast forward 2 years, the game has gotten a hell of a lot better! Still not perfect but it's a lot more fun and plays completely different compared to it's release. Can't wait to see what else Techland will add.

I think we can all agree DL1 is a gem, ive played the game countless hours, replayed the campaign, grinded legend levels, and i can say I've enjoyed every second of it!

Dying light 1 feels much scarier in my opinion. People are afraid to go out at night.But I think it has some bad aspects.
- Sunlight in the game is excessive and affects the game badly.
-The game has extreme screen shaking and motion blur, which is nauseating. The image would be better without screen shake and motion blur.
There are no graphical deficiencies in the game compared to the year it was released, but there are redundancies. These are the things I wrote that need to be fixed and it shouldn't be too difficult.

This Game is in Sane especial the Beginning this Beautiful Nature and Woods , later in Donwton Cities it makes tonn of fun to Explore the World and Climbing the Towers 😘

The devs heard the request and now we have to use flash light even on broad daylight.

I enjoyed Dying Light one to the core, colour pallette of that game was consistent with the game world, Dying Light 2 feels a bit too colourful and vibrant for a postapocalyptic zombie game.

Dying Light 2 is a clunky mess. Movement does not feel satisfying at all compared to the first game. I guess they tried to make it more realistic?

They could’ve literally ported the first game with a new character and story and I would’ve loved it ffs

When I saw that big city in the picture of the dying game, I was very happy and told myself that this is the game I want, how to play on parkour buildings. But after installing the game, when I wanted to go to the skyscrapers of the same city, I saw that there is a wall between these two, and I realized that there is only one model, and I felt bad.

They ruined the game when they added patrolling vollatiles at night 🙄 no more night exploration..

DL1 is better

I played the last of us 1 and 2. And i am about start playing Days gone. But idk which one of DL i should play i am considering to buy part 2

I just finished dying light and the following again, I jumped into dl2 and the movement and parkour feel so weighted down and stiff compared to the first game.

Only thing i miss in dying light 2 is overall visuals of breaking bones and ragdoll maybe they gonna make it better soon

Sure dying light 1 was amazing but that doesnt mean 2 is awful. It isn't.

And open world survival mmorpg Dying light 1 without the parkour and plus some zombie balancing would be a better game than both of them.
