Growing up, everyone i KNEW who saw this film said Tina Majorino was my doppleganger!

At least this version preserves the puns and songs and satire.

The resolution is terrible.

As an irish person who grew up witb this movie I never realised the pure discrimination, between making them the help to putting them in green and playing irish music over it. Nice one guys. Ithere then that still love this classic ❤

Is it just me or is this version missing a few of its scenes? Specifically the white night, the flower's, tweedle dum and tweedle dee?

Okay. I'm 33 and this is so vaguely and oddly familiar to me like I've seen it when I was little little. I'm trying so hard to remember haha. I remember this actress too. Crazy....I've been thinking about it lots and I think we got this movie in a cereal box when i was a kid too...those were the days!

I remember when this played on tv and we didn’t get the channel. But my aunt did and she taped it for my sisters and I to watch. I remember my sisters liking this movie but I didn’t seem to like it very much. There was too much puppet use and the CGI for some of the characters was just terrible.

I did like her authentic depiction of an awkward teenager in Napoleon Dynamite.

This version is by far my favorite of all the Alice films.
It follows the book so very well, with its trippy ideas (falling down a hole that's so deep that time seems to slow down enough that you notice shelves of items on the way down, while still falling. No wonder the hippies thought it was psychedelic!).
Miranda Richardson, playing the Queen, brings the same energy that she had playing Queen Elizabeth the first in Blackadder. Same over-the-top ridiculousness.
Really top performances out of the actors in this film.

Was this interpretation accurate or what? Cos there seemed to be a lot of excessive nonsense cringe scenes in it, I mean don't get me wrong, it was entertaining enough! I thought Lewis Carroll was more symbolic and meaningful than that, not so much creating a silly wordplay scene just for the sake of it being silly.

My grandfather used to call me Alice😢🥹🥲
