Applying voltage to change the curvature of a liquid gel (polymer) as a membrane between 2 glasses are their invention, which is also used in AR providing human eye like passthrough (VST). Magic Leap 2, Varjo XR-4, Xvisio, Vuzix Shield, AVP (ont yet confirmed) to name a few. Same TLens used in Meizu Infinity 20 selfie camera... 🙂
