Why I No Longer Listen to Vocaloid

I actually discovered touhou first then i discovered vocaloid and utau

Did yall know that without Japan 🇯🇵, Vocaloid and Sanrio wouldn't exist

I have v4, v5, and v6 of vocaloid. I plan on making vocarock and vocametal one day once i learn how to make music.

First heard of vocaloid when I got into anime in 2012 when I was 6. I got into it for a while thrn dropped it. I think I'm getting back into it a little.

i dislike vocaloid. i just hate pop music in general, and all vocaloids just sound empty

Idk what happened but since 2015 I’ve gradually stopped listening to vocoloid

ive realised that newer vocoloid fans prefer more realistic songs and older ones prefer more robotic most the time

Vocaloid is my (painful) life, ye painful cuz of it

Title is something that never happens lol. You don’t ever stop listening to vocaloid, you jump in and out of listening to vocaloid songs.
Literally I’ve listened to tons of songs, but stop listening to certain songs after getting bored of them.

Although i used to never listen to vocaloid i started to like this new vocaloid producers songs his name was MARETU and my fav of his songs were Darling

I'm 16 right now and I literally dedicate 2 hours a day (from midnight to 2 am, just like your memory cinema) listening to UTAU, vocaloid and Cevio. I don't know how, but these less or more human sounding voicebanks changed my whole personality since I discovered it when I was 11. I managed to quit p*rn, online toxicity, started working out and learning japanese (and gave me an irrepressible desire to move to japan), they even changed my system of values.

Just, how can something so simple be so impactful in ones' life?
I also am a Vflower junkie, her voice was researched in a laboratory to be addictive and you can't convince me otherwise.

I can't imagine my life without this pathos, I appriciate that night I found my first GUMI song.

I feel like in the early days vocaloid producers were beginners, didn't have a following or much experience, and you kinda feel it in their compositions, they were highly experimental combining the musical genres they wanted and weren't afraid of making meme songs, and the 'singing ultra fast" was a new thing that vocaloid brought the opportunity to do. So that created fun songs, and VERY unique styles. I feel like with time, it became more and more mainstream that now the songs on the top are more "safe" and with high quality production. So now the songs are more forgettable and you don't have that many quirky meme songs being popular

vocaloid <3 my beloved. after a video popped up on my feed explaining what kasune teto was, i kinda went down the rabbit hole (PUN NOT INTENDED, THANK YOU DECO*27) of VOCALOIDs and UTAUloids and i specifically was curious about UTAUloids such as Defoko, who have a completely artificial voice. :D and now miku constantly takes up half of my brain storage.

i dont see anyone talking about this but... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ADDING CAPTIONS!! i have some moments where i LITERALLY cannot understand plain english (even though english was my FIRST DAMN LANGUAGE) and i zone out. i force myself to look at captions and that helps me understand the video better❤
