D2R Unique Items - Goldstrike Arch (Gothic Bow)

I'm using this bow with my strafe amazon and walked through nightmare with ease

I have an upped Goldstrike and a normal Buriza and I would use the Buriza if it weren’t soooooo sloooooow. Even with a Shael socketed for 100% IAS the Buriza is no faster than a normal grand matron bow. Crossbows need some love. The Goldstrike BURNS through arrows, I go through more than a thousand killing everything in River of Flame and Chaos Sanctuary.

Would be great if it was a wepon not a bow. for zeal and proc foh

Our group found 4 and we only have one Amazon we just handed him the bows

It seems to be a very good bow and worth upgrading, but in reality it's very hard to find a one with decent roll, the 100-200% dmg to demon and undead roll really made most of the goldstrike you find not worth using. Buriza is actually much more reliable.

This bow is a close 2nd to a windforce bow. Maybe higher from the extra damage to demons and undead.

This and eaglehorn were my best bows before 1.10 which messed up bowazon. I still love goldstrike these days....that fist of heaven is just sheer amazing!

didn't know this bow has so many variables - I guess I had a bit of luck with 239 ED, 200 dmg to demons and 178 dmg to undead (unfortunately 117 AR)

Just found one and upgraded it. It's speed is nice and with lava gout's enchant and the bonus to undead/demons, this might be better than the buriza del kanyon

In the period of about 5 years of having 4 bots running 24/7 I never found a perfect version of one of these.

Pretty sure a perfect roll on this bow is the rarest item in this game. Only thing I can think of more rare are bugged items or some god roll rare items but even then, the variable size for modifiers on Goldstrike Arch are so massive, Pretty sure it's impossible to get a perfect one. The chances are so small.

Why the 300 str stat bonus... Also gotta take into account the dex dmg bonus.

Would lightning mastery from sorc increase the first of the heavens damage proc? How about items that add lightning damage, would First of the Heavens get buffed like Raven Claw explosive arrows?

This is better than wind force for pvm. Provided you have a high roll.

This has bonus to AR which makes you hit more often, with the demon and undead damage which more monaters are, you do more damage than windforce most of the time. Not to mention the 50ias vs 20ias on the WF. The higher ias, allows you to have more choices in your gear options, like putting gravepalm or laying of hands or crafted knockback or blood gloves or lava gout or even a 3 passive 20ias gloves for higher level inner sight, higher CRIT chance, higher survivability with your DAE skills. What windforce has going, is just the raw damage, which does more damage on animal-type monsters and mana leech. Theres another sort of downside as well, is when FOH procs when using your standard skills or at the end of strafe, there is a short delay before you can start firing again.

As mentioned by GGM though, the issue is finding a high roll on the bow.

Why does everyone say that there aren't very many Beast-type monsters in the game? There's an absolute ton of them! They are hardly underrepresented, lol.

Sorry for the late comment, but after %ed, which % should be hoping for? High Ed to UD, / Ed to Demons or high % AR?

All it missing is a Gold find on mobs like u would strike gold! :D

Good for cs farming with loh and coh on strafezon. Seemed to do better than mist bow for this area.
