When an umpire calls a wrong line call, you do not lose just 1 point, what you really lose is 2 points. 
As in the case in the video, wrong call at 14-10. Score becomes 15-10 instead of 14-11.
15 minus 10 = 5 points (5 points behind your opponent)
14 minus 11 = 3 points (3 points behind your opponent)

When I saw the player, whose racket was broken, I remembered that I had a classmate that had the same thing happening. He broke his racket , and the worst was it hit another person!

all my life watching sports, 1 thing i am certain. do not count on badminton umpire. 99% are embarassing themselves, stubborn even when they are in fault. worst part is, bwf doesnt do anything serious about it.

After Malaysia lost I would have said fuck you to the umpire, walked out, and made sure he would never umpire a professional match again. That's just plain stupid and complete lack of awareness in his part which is a huge part of his job. He even referenced from the wrong line guard. Not to mention how unprofessional the smugs from Denmark are. Yes umpires get it wrong sometimes but not with stuff this kind of obvious. Is he blind?

Usually, they can challenge the decision. they have atleast 3 challenges. Why not base on the tape??? Ot there's no video lol! Poor event place and coordinator.... It should always be backed up with videos on major tournament like this.. An international tournament.

The Umpire one is irritating but honestly I’m so used to people cheating while playing badminton that I accept their challenge to try and win against the unfair odds.
That’s not what you SHOULD HAVE TO DO in Professional Badminton but just casually it’s more fun and adds more difficulty.
