Ramble Session 347 || A Lil' of This, A Lil' of That...

Morning El!! Hope you birthday was great! Your quilt pieces look good. The problem areas are because the triangles aren't perfectly square and then they won't line up exactly. But you did a great job! I use starch when I iron them sometimes. I iron my backs flat open and starch if I need to. But it really does look good. I also assume paint is gloss unless it says otherwise. That's the rule of thumb. And paint is better the more it costs. Not that I'm buying expensive paint for art work. I love your paint journals you are making too! The envelope does look like a fun size cover. Congratulations on your scan results! Praise Jesus!!

Thanks for another great Ramble Session! I love keeping up with your projects! I like to do strip quilting and make the strips using a rotary cutter and cutting mat--things come out more precisely. I'm not familiar with the block method you showed us. Your blocks are so cute--love your fabrics.Good luck with it all! I like your trash journal--such a good way to remember what products were used. Think I'll make a note about whether or not I liked the item if/when I make one. I'm always inspired by your videos--looking forward to more per week in 2025!

You're such an inspiration! From your health journey to how you approach journal making and journaling. I love your journals made from large white envelopes. I have a box of them that have been sitting around. You've inspired me to get started on making journals out of them. It looks like so much fun with endless possibilities.
By the way, I just made a trash journal too. The cover was made out of a Red Baron frozen pizza box. It turned out so cute. I used black letter stickers to spell out 'junk journal' and has nothing but trash in it. It's so much fun. 😊
