Isnt the guaranteed lossless answer just a file sharing service like google drive? Just upload the photos/vids there and have the recipient download them. No weirdness of trying to squeeze footage thru a texting application and worry about messaging protocols downsizing/altering footage?
I get thats not always as mobile friendly but it seems objectively more functional
