Using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to clean "corrosion marks" off of electronics or printed circuit boards is a really dumb idea. 70% means it is made of 70% Alcohol / 30% Water. Meaning you are using water, which corrodes electronics, to clean it. There is a reason specifically made electronic cleaner exists. IF you are in a pinch and have to use iso to clean something, make sure it is 91% or above.

I just watched this video and step 5 which is the end solved my issue

My remote control of Liftmaster garage door opener works only when the light is off or when the light is flashing. When the light is on, I push the button on the remote control, and nothing is working. The bulb is not LED bulb.

My remote and bulb stopped working together yesterday..So, i cleaned the sensors aligned properly, cleaned the bulb connector and reprogrammed my remote. Now remote is working but bulb is still not lightening up.
Do i need to change the bulb? As it's quite old. I can hear the click sound though while pressing light on switch.

My remote stopped working today, then i notice that my garage door opener light bulb is also not lightening up.
What could be the most possible reason? Do i need to replace the bulb? If yes then what type of bulb i need. Please answer.😢

Wiping the spider webs off of the antennae wire with Windex and slightly uncurling the curl worked for me. What I don't understand is why prior to cleaning is that the remotes would work once and not again within a short time span. If you went shopping and returned it would work once and only once again. But all seems well now so thanks for the advice.

Hello, I’m having an issue with my garage door. After my old garage door motor stopped working, I replaced it with a new Chamberlain opener motor. I reset the garage door keypad outside, and everything worked fine after the replacement. However, when I went to work, one of my friends found that my garage door had opened by itself. I checked everything, and it seemed to work correctly, so I went to sleep. The next morning, I found the garage door open again. I tried to reset the system but couldn't determine what was wrong. I need your help to figure out what might be causing this problem. Thank you.

I have to tell you that for me the issue was the LIGHT BULB. Thank you! I really hope one of the 5 solutions here works for others too. I couldn't believe it.
