Realistically, does anyone really need much more than this, especially on the street??
ОтветитьYou just know we’re getting a sport touring version of this ASAP
ОтветитьIn today’s world this looks to be a great bike with real world usability at a price that is affordable. I’m considering chopping in my Ducati 939 Supersport and buying it. Great video!!
ОтветитьIn the market for a new bike in Q1 so really want to test this
Ответитьyou didn't even ride it lol thumbs down
ОтветитьI wished they could have made the exhaust bigger
ОтветитьMines on order. Interestingly, Honda Australia are only bringing in the SP model as they know it will outsell the standard one by a very long way. The red IMO, just looks too close to a cheaper Ducati.
ОтветитьRefreshing … so much better looking than the horrible neo retro predecessor..top marks
ОтветитьWhat does Honda have against swingarm spools? Why do they refuse to provide some threaded inserts for them on so many models? In my mind this is a basic maintenance necessity. 😵
ОтветитьHORNET ❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhat you were saying about that TC system cutting in aggressively when you wheelie sounds kinda dangerous. Like imagine you were in a group ride, you start powering out of a corner with a friend following close behind and then suddenly the bike stops accelerating and just slows aggresively from engine braking and suddenly your friend plows into the back of you. That is a real downer. It's all well and good making a cheap bike but if the bike is cheap because it's bad then that's unacceptable. How much extra would it cost to switch out that TC unit for something better? $100? Worth it.
ОтветитьPeople are so focused on the low price but not on the fact that like most hondas it boring as fuck. Sure it will be reliable but it just looks like the laziest design ever copying ducati's streetfighter
Ответить180 tyre is more than enough in the age of traction control,
ОтветитьI look forward to seeing the 2026 model with cruise control, a better passenger seat and improved TC/wheelie control.
Ответитьooogly
ОтветитьHomerun by Honda 👍
ОтветитьGreat looking bike with good power. Great price. This is looking like my next bike 👍
ОтветитьSounds like great vfm, doesn’t look exactly special with the welded on subframe & huge exhaust
Ответитьwell Honda now selling corp costed designs of rather mundane slightly porky and sluggish paralle twins I suppose we should be grateful for the CB The italians would never have been allowed to eat Hondas V4 lunch if the old man was still around the hum drum years are here This market sector will soon be the sole terrotory of China. I dont see the grey Honda suits having any answers
ОтветитьHope we get it here in the United States soon..hopefully.
Ответитьan adventure touring version please honda :)
ОтветитьExcellent review Fast Bikes, and well done Honda. I'll be really surprised if they don't sell a lot of these.
ОтветитьHonda have worked a blinder, let’s be honest, who needs speed sensitive multi axis IMU stuff, who needs multiple traction control systems or slide control….. nobody…… track gods yes, they might want to lube their self worth, but not most riders,
Honda 1000cc 150 bhp, great brakes, and suspension, nuff said,
Thinking a small HH monogram in gold on tank ..would be stylish ?
Representing Honda Hornet 😊
No I had the hornet 750 for about a year and a half and I tried it in user mode like you say turning down the engine breaking didn’t make much difference. I have bought a Suzuki GSX8R now silky smooth the 8S was silky smooth as well but I prefer the styling on the 8R
ОтветитьJM 💪
ОтветитьWhen Mr Mack speaks, I listen!!! Great breakdown of the bike! :)
Ответитьit's Honda's way of saying "calm the f**k down"
ОтветитьCheers mate, good review. One question though, if you want to fit an after market exhaust, are you going to lose the additional power gain?
ОтветитьWell done Honda but I will be keeping my v4 Honda 1200x crosstourer dct
ОтветитьLeave it to Honda to give the customers what they want….Take my money 💰 SOLD
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьGood job, Honda - looks like an excellent bike and a great price !
ОтветитьIf the flap is in the exhaust does that mean you cant put in an aftermarket one as that wont have flap that that talk to the ecu?
ОтветитьDear Honda. Please for the love of God bring this to America. Please 🙏 <3
ОтветитьHere's hoping that this bike will start to drive down the out of control pricing that some manufacturers think is justifiable. This is bang on the price point for this type of bike and the sector its aiming for. It looks good, goes well according to reviews and more importantly, it allows new riders and affordable bike from new.
This is the 2nd Honda to be released recently that seems great value..this and the CBR600RR.
this is going to come down crushing on new and used markets , and I cant say I am sad about it
ОтветитьEverybody's talking about the SP version but what about the normal one ?
ОтветитьThe CB 750 was the first bike with an electric self starter? I wouldn't give up your day job if I were you. A motorcycle journalist you are not if you can't even get that fact correct.
ОтветитьLoos like a good workhorse. 140 bhp should be plenty for the street. I can see new velocity stacks, a full akrapovic and a set of 2017 cams making 160bhp. Might surprise a few at the track then. Sorry but it still looks a bit like a tractor to me. JDM aftermarket parts will probably change that though.
ОтветитьToo bad red is the base version, looks better than this
ОтветитьHello FastBike, may I ask how tall you are and how it was on the a hornet? I am 1.92 and I ordered the SP. Had the cb650r neo and it was fine but would eat all the wind on it. How was it on the Hornet?
ОтветитьWhat power do you think could be made with a propper exhaust and ecu flash.?
ОтветитьSuch a shame ,its so Ugly !
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure the original hornet was a CBR 600 engine squeezed into a 400 chassis, great review though
ОтветитьConsidering the Chinese have taken over the EV space over even luxury car makers like BMW and Mercedes, Honda has to hold on to the only thing they do best. Motorcycles. This is a wake up call to traditional vehicle manufacturers. The auto crisis in Germany is now well known. BYD is taken in the same breath as a BMW or Merc in the world of EV;s.
ОтветитьI’ve got a 21 Honda CB 1000 black edition PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT THIER DIFFERENCE is.. with this hornet.. not because I’m might get one. I just curious.
I think my 21 black E is so underrated we live in a world where everybody want the biggest and Best syndrome sothey spend more money for more horsepowers With big curvy tanks and headlights they pass up the elegant Honda CB 1000, and to my delight. I feel like where I’m from. It’s my own little secret weapon for fun. Nobody has them around here in city of Louisville, Kentucky I would love for you to let me know is the hornet in the CB 1000 similar because they seem similar to me. They seem very similar not quite twin brothers but?
