One tip activating a new Neo via an iPhone: If the WiFi gets stuck, and you have exhausted all the troubleshooting offered by DJI and the forums, cycle power of your iPhone. It did the trick for me. 😊

Hi, can the Neo track you from the side?

This little buddy is perfect for begginers like me and my son,we only want it for selfie modes.

I was finally able to set it up thru my phone --- you have to have internet connection so you can authorize it and update ect. One problem I had was i was using a vpn on my phone and had to turn that off to connect it. When the green lights are solid it is fully charged. Also power on the drone push the button for 3 seconds and then release button and hold in until the unit comes on.

I flew the DJI neo in Goa, India & the drone is so good! Flew it at 120m above sea level & got incredible footage! Loving this drone!

Great video, one thing I can't seem to do is change the language of the Android Fly app. It's super annoying to have it in Dutch (The Netherlands) since the translations are terrible. Would be wonderful to change it to English and in earlier tutorials it seemed possible in the past but not any longer?

Hi can we set a route or waypoint with the dji neo?

Also, imagine u have set the drone to follow mode, what if there is a bunch of people around you, would it follow you or go after someone getting confused? I noticed this on my drone when flying at home where it went after a diff person ;) is this a glitch or ??

Hi. Which custom settings applies when you use the neo without remote specifically using the preset flight modes? I believe sharpness and noise reduction adjustments doesn't apply on Flight modes without remote.

Would like DJI to add "Camera" with timed shots, say 5 Sec & 10 Sec intervals to All the NEO preset shooting modes. At present think only the "Circle" mode offers timed photos. Only offering the "Video" Camera Mode is a bit limiting

Question, I want to film my dog walks in North Norfolk, on 'follow' will the Neo get confused between following me and the dog? Also having read the CAA guidance, do you need to take the flight test to get an operator's ID?

Matthew, in Camera Settings with the Neo, if you set Flicker rate to 50 Hz, can you then set frame rate to 25 fps, and codec to H.264? I must use these settings for videoing the annual Clarendon Marathon (Salisbury to Winchester) in October. This is to be compatible with the rest of the video team for the event. Note: the Mini 4K happily shoots in this way. Thank-you.

Does the neo start recording by itself when used without the phone (in six modes)?
