ОтветитьThanks for doing this test. I use whipping cream in my coffee but sometimes I can't get it and this is good to know. The one thing I like about whipping cream over half and half is that I feel I can get a more satisfying cup of coffee with a lot less whipping cream then I do with half and half. In other words I find I've got to put more than two tablespoons a lot more in order to get a really nice tasting coffee. Thanks
ОтветитьHi there! I am type 2 diabetic and have PCOS therefore a lot of hormone dysregulation. My ND told me that having caffeine on an empty stomach would spike my insulin levels and therefore kick me out of IF. He recommended that if I was going to have coffee I should have an egg with it. For some reason that seems counterintuitive. What are your thoughts about this feedback from my ND? I like tea, but need sweetener with it. Even though it’s not sugar, would a sweetener added to tea break my fast due to spike in insulin? How many points in glucose would be considered a meaningful impact to insulin levels that would break a fast? Sorry I am asking so many questions. I really respect your practices and would like to hear your thoughts. Thank you for your time.☺️

According to Thomas, it doesn’t, but my own version of experimenting showed my ketones and GKI going down. Please help clear that up

ОтветитьDo you want to use half-and-half instead of heavy whipping cream because it's lesser calories. I don't eat a lot of fat that's one of the ways that I get my fat into my keto diet is heavy cream

I just got a glucose/Ketone meter and am happy to know that my usual coffee with half-and-half will work as I try to increase my intermittent fasting window. This video was extremely helpful and encouraging for me to press on. Thank you Drs Becky and Keith for this wonderful video.

1. I HAVE to get a glucometer 😄
2. I also have a very stubborn insulin problem. And Dr. Keith's results were important to me.
3. I CAN intermittently fast with the bulletproof coffee.
4. Will not waste money with mct powder.
