Given the anonymous nature of reddit-farmed content, the author generally has no authority of any kind and the veracity of the tale is not meant to be questioned. Now, introduce AI into this concept and i feel after hearing just a few minutes of it that i prefer THIS over the kind of naive prose found online. The horror publishing industry actually forbids the use of AI to generate material, and will publicly scorn writers using it. I personally love AI, but as a marvel to behold, not a crutch for lack of ability. These are great stories and i know i wont roll my eyes at them because its not a bored HS student behind them. This is fascinating on multiple levels. Thanks for the experiment.

I'm sitting here at work listening to this and completely forgot that the 1st story was written by AI. Loooool I was seriously like, "Dammmmn he dieeeeeeddd? That's fucked uppp." Then I looked at the phone and saw the title. 😅

It’s scary how well AI understands what scares us. And the feelings it conveyed in the hospital story despite not being human itself. When it spoke of unresolved pain and the need for closure it gave me goosebumps. It knows what we crave as humans and that’s spooky in itself

Listen every night for the past year skin walkers for me are the best ones but I do like ghosts ones as well and by far the best voice to tell stories scary but ur voice is so relaxing thanks for help sleeping mort keep up the good work 100 percent and my kids love ur story telling many nights up late lights off windows open. The most terrifying thing about this is how well written it is, the thought process, the pacing and the structure of the story. It's really good,a lot better than many books published by people nowadays...if AI can replace creativity, we as humans have lost the only one true thing that made us unique, and I find this nore terrifying than any story...god help us all....

i think this was an interesting experiment, but the stories were kind of flat. They all seemed to lack suspense or mystery. It is amazing though what technology can create.

You should make another ai generated stories video, but sneak in a real human story and see if people can guess which one was made by a person.

Ai is horror in itself, this is genius mort!!! Dont listen of people give you a hard time for using it, your using it in the best way possible. Ai horror couod be a genre itself. Imagine a robot writing about a cyber apocalypse!!!

I absolutely love your videos and listen to them old or new nearly every day while working. I didn't enjoy this though and gave up half way. While I agree it's amazing that AI produced this it just wasn't enjoyable. I think perhaps the language was too consistently intense, like when an author tries to hard. Hope you're not running out of topics for real stories.. Who will I listen to each day?!

AI noticeably stands out in one way. It seems to use much bigger words than Mort's contributors normally seem to send in. The really creepy aspect is that the stories here are otherwise so well constructed. If AI can generate this sophisticated content now, then what will AI and other technological innovations have in store for us in the years ahead?

PLEASE do not upload AI generated stories. This takes up space for real authors of scary stories. AI generated stories harm real authors and their livelihood. There are tons of awesome stories online written by humans.

I usually don't like made up stories b/c there's no emotional connection to them so they seem less scary and you can tell when someone is making a story up, they jist sound lije they're full of crap. Anyways despite that this piqued my interest. I want to see if AI can capture that connection you feel when someone is telling a true story. I'll leave a comment to this one with my reaction when I'm done listening.

A.I will never match human creativity..the first storys it did actually feel like a computer was writing a story from traditional human storys I know that's exactly what it was but i could have almost guessed it...when it said the three drunken men said "what are you doing in our 'territory' ..that did it for me lol...didn't know random drunk men in the middle of nowhere were worried about there 'territory' and walked around armed killing campers for there 'territory' 😂😂...Nice attemp though 👍.cheers Mort

Are AI stories all that you will be reading from now on? I do not support AI. People need jobs. AI is threatening the livelihood of human writers. If your next video is AI stories I will be unsubscribing. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your channel. I am informing you why I may leave and leaving it in your hands to make that decision. That way you won't have to wonder why your numbers drop. I have not watched nor listened to any of your AI offerings and I will not.
