ОтветитьThat looks a very nice dish that does Adam. I could certainly do with a plate of that. I don't think i have the cooking skills or spice cabinet to knock that up. But if i did try it could you use tinned tomatoes instead of fresh. I don't like or eat fresh tomatoes i haven't had them since i was a kid.

ОтветитьAdam, if you have easy access to a farmfoods store, i have recently found a brand of coconut milk that doesnt seperate. Its called suree.
Also i think i have found out why i have lost loads of weight and all my teeth, i have been adding meth and not methi 😂

ОтветитьThis is very similar to Mutt'achar, but without the green mango - Clarissa from Two Fat Ladies made this. The unripe mango really adds an extra dimension. It was a dish from Cochin in southern India. I'll give this shot, it looks very tasty. You can also mix this up by making the sauce, and then poaching the eggs in the sauce.

ОтветитьI set the timer for 5 minutes for the eggs and then turn the heat off and put the lid on. The heat in the water will cook the eggs through in 3-5 minutes depending on size. Saves energy!

ОтветитьI'm afraid I've gone off on a tangent and started thinking about merging this great cost effective recipe and started to merge some of it with a slightly more expensive one. In my mind (at the moment as I've alredy eaten!). How about your Chicken thighs and butter bean stew, but curried and using both coconut milk and cream? Would it work?

ОтветитьAs a person of Asian background, I'm really impressed how you used the right techniques. Although I'd add the whole spices in first and let them sizzle a bit before adding the onions. I also wanted to say that I've watched your other videos on traditional English food and agree that English food is really tasty. I love a good roast dinner, cottage pie, banger and mash with onion gravy, cauliflower cheese...
