ОтветитьHi am very enjoying your lessons thank you teacher
ОтветитьI really enjoy your teaching method and videos. I have tried to strum a pattern to imitate a Harley motorcycle rhythm (lubbaity, lubbity, lubbity). Do you have any patterns or suggestions how to approach it?
Thanks,
Charlie Joe Weir
Thanks for the strumming reminder. You are always on the ball for us old arthritis ridden folks. Thanks so much for your help. Great teaching.

I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings..."
🙂
Om the 100 bpm exercise, I kept expecting the Em to turn into whatever that 2nd chord in Horse With No Name is... D-something over 9 or whatever it is -- I know you've done a lesson on it..
Great lesson thanks
ОтветитьThank you so much...this is so helpfull ❤❤👋😊💋
ОтветитьIt's so important to teach the progression of the pattern! Thank you
ОтветитьThank you, your lessons are always helpful.
ОтветитьAs always an excellent tute.
I leant the two strumming patterns I know using the metronome as you described, varying the tempo.
However this exercise is excellent because it covers multiple patterns. So I'll definitely be adding it to my daily routine after the finger stretches.
Thanks Lauren
Excellent. But how hard I try my rhythm goes wrong when I try to play with any one signing. Plz suggest how to solve it.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьYou're a rock star figuratively and literally! I do find the exercise difficult in being consistent about it, but have been practicing on it and improving. I find it easier to do 3/4 time though, for some reason.
ОтветитьThanks I really like this I really need help in this area also like the way you present and teach the lesson Awesome Rock On🎯🎸
ОтветитьAnother great lesson, Thank you.
Ответить..
thanks.. thanks.. thanks.. 🙏🙏🙏
i have a question for you, I would appreciate it if you could help me.. 🤔
- I can't quite tune the 'G' string on both my steel string guitar and nylon string guitar,
I can't get the tone I want, do you think that's normal ?.. 😕😟
(I have a lot of problems, especially with nylon wire.. 😮💨)
(actually, I'm tuning my guitar exactly, but the tone coming out of the 'G' string is not pleasant to my ear, I don't like it..)
. is the problem on the wires ?.,
, on the guitar ?.,
or do I have it ?..
..
.
That final 4 chord exercise would make a superb TikTok loop, I would probably play it 100 times in a row....
ОтветитьA brilliant video which will now be part of my warm up. Thank you. Paul Lucas.
ОтветитьThankyou very much ❤️ this is what I am looking for.
ОтветитьI don’t request many songs—Will you please do “With or Without You” by U2?
I have been practicing your humming while I play songs now—I can feel this is going to help because I’m less focused on strumming. I’m determined to sing while playing. It’s frustrating know songs over 6 years-and can’t sing one.
Thanks Lauren great information. My one question as a newbie. Is it necessary to use a pick or can I use my thumb. Again thanks
Ответитьthanks Lauren
useful reminder
daily practice will = improvement
Your clear instructions make learning strumming feel like a breeze. Keep up the great work, inspiring beginners to pick up their guitars and play with confidence! -Macy (Team Evan)
ОтветитьI'll start using this as my practice routine. My question is moving my 3rd finger 1st going from G/D works well but I'm faster moving my 1st 2 fingers 1st from D/G works. It's the same D/C / C/D. Is this ok or is it best to learn 2b consistent by moving 3rd finger always 1st? Just want to learn the right way the 1st time. Enjoying your 7 level system. Thanks.
ОтветитьHi Lauren, I’m trying to take advantage of you Memorial Sale 52 percent off, but unfortunately my payment will not go though l have the funds but not having it, please advise, I’m in the UK, is there another way l can pay, like a payment line of something like that. It maybe because I’m Uk and I’m sending to the states.
ОтветитьShe ain't my woman, but can't imagine my life without her teachings. Holy hsit she just made my life so much easier. Thank you soooo much❤

ОтветитьLove,this lesson,like,👍 👌 💛
Ответитьperfect teaching
Ответить❤
ОтветитьGreat strumming lesson! Thanks
Ответить🙃 great lesson
ОтветитьHi Lauren, I just bought into the strumming and faster better chords courses. They do look good. I had lessons a few years ago but never got enuff dexterity and speed but I did learn where a lot of chords are and have a bunch of songs all tabbed out to work on so definitely not a waste.
What drew me in aside from your teaching style is who could possibly not be interested in lessons from a teacher with a g5420t hangin on the wall. First guitar I ever bought was an electromatic 5420. You ever play it? Looks like it has dynas the pickups I'd like.
As far as music I mainly like its country country rock an bluegrass. You do any molly tuttle like crooked tree or the super fast olympia washington.
Well ill get started in the morning....
This will be a game changer for getting good at Stand by me thanks
ОтветитьVery nice Explain
ОтветитьGreat workòut ì have almosr got level 2 BUT is there another video where Lauren explains how to upstrum? Sounds easy but to a complete beginner like me i am sure it is more than keeping your wrist relaxed..
ОтветитьStumming pattern practice
👍 like😊❤
Excellent lesson! Thank you!
ОтветитьMy sturmming problem perfectly solve thank you very much.
ОтветитьYou are a wonderful teacher and I am learning a LOT watching your videos. I am a older, older learner. Wish I would have started years ago but that's water under the bridge. As a older learner the metronome is difficult to hear when strumming and watching video. Drum machine works a lot better for me, plus it feels more real if you know what I mean. Its just a suggestion from me too you. Either way works, right?!
ОтветитьI had to laugh when you said "That sounds great!" Haha! Not here, it didn't, but I am a real beginner. This was a great lesson. I'll be setting my metronome to a slower speed to go through that chord progression exercise again. 😆
ОтветитьYou really cover the basics and fundamentals well, and I absorb all this as if I were brand new. I've been playing a long, long time (and occasionally sound pretty decent), but admit to some bad habits. I'm very happy to have found your channel! ❤😊
ОтветитьI am confused and can't catch an answer. When you do strumming do you start over with every chord change even if you can't get the full measure? I don't recall any video that explains that. Or I am just missing it in a video of yours. 🤔
ОтветитьAs a 65 yr old beginner i loved this lesson couldn't keep up with the chord changes but loved it anyway. definitely something to aspire too as a short term goal . my aim would be to accomplish this in 3 months time. Making the chords is not the problem its the changes in time to the beats have added this lesson to my daily practice schedule hope you don't mind ,and i am not breaking any copyright laws.
ОтветитьThanks again for this tutorial....but I have a question... I allready play some piano, and started about 3 months ago with guitar....but I really dislike using a pick....is it possible to play almost all sings without a pick....or is a pick absolutely necessary?
ОтветитьMy fret hand doesn't want to cooperate..do those things to spread the fingers with help?❤
ОтветитьWow!!! Excellent exercises! Thanks Lauren!!!
