It looks so awkward that there is a queue to go up and go down with all the risks involved such as only a short window to go up and down and such limited bottled oxygen supplies available. Would it not make more sense for there to be one way up and one way down such as abseiling from the summit to a different route rather than backtracking and having to squeeze past eachother so often, using up precious oxygen in a queue?
