Monash Engineering Girls (MEG) - Engineering 101

In 2019, we hosted the very successful Monash Engineering Girls (MEG) “Engineering 101” event, and welcomed over 60 high school girls to Monash.

The girls took part in an amazing The STEAM Engine Co. workshop, run by Monash Engineering Alumni, Marissa Thomas. Dr Julie Karel gave the girls a taste of uni life with her fascinating lecture on the thermodynamics of materials. And our student clubs and teams provided a chance to speak to current Monash engineering students to find out about their experiences.
