Seems like Shonen Jump is pressuring him to start back up again sooner rather than later since MHA and JJK both ended, and also HxH going back on hiatus.

I doubt it will be a sequel. I have a feeling his next work will be a lot different than mha.

I can't wait to see what horikoshi's new manga will be, I'm predicting a sci-fi horror manga taking inspiration from one of his favourite franchises, star wars and movies like alien

I could see horikoshi extremely detailed art for some pretty gruesome body horror , character designs, environments and weapons

horikoshi comments about not being through with mha could suggest a fifth movie or side projects like an updated ultra analysis book

The only thing I'm worried about is his health both physical and mental, as his health wasnt the greatest during the final stretch of the manga and im worried it will happen again

I think that Horikoshi should just take a break and then come back next year.

Story,characters and worldbuilding whatever he makes next and not another mid hero academia in terms of writing and other stuff that i mention

I hope horikoshi learns from some of his mistakes in MHA
The writting is great but there are questionable and flat out bad moments too aspecially in the later parts

I’m no expert, but, he’s built up some pretty solid foundations in MHA that if he were to expand on them his manga could potentially become top 7 in Japan. And he could still make it horrific. From the support items to the robots and prosthetic limbs, I think he could go in a direction like The Terminator or The Matrix and have something like Age of Ultron especially with Hatsume and La Brava

Horikoshi needs a vacation, a reset and warm, positive people in his life. He definitely needs a breather before starting things up again.

I think we love when artists and writers create something by themselves, but there are plenty of amazing manga and anime that never wouldve existed without collaboration

He's the best manga artist that actually keeps up with his fans
