You've got talent, keep showcasing it
ОтветитьI have the little LED lights around the house. But didn't think about back lighting. I will check tonight.
ОтветитьI prefer to use a self made superstition security system. Most people are afraid of ghosts than they are of deadly force. It's my very effective passive aggressive security system.

ОтветитьFantastic information
ОтветитьI am a bit old school. Candlelight on a pewter or unpolished brass chamberstick (with thumb hole). After tying my Victorian Nightshirt at the waist, I execute a rapid 1/64 speed run to ensure I don't catch fire nor extinguish my flame. I wholly accept it is not the most elite setup, but it allows me to operate at the highest echelons of Scroogedom. Bah Humbugs Unite!
ОтветитьTY USCCA
ОтветитьIn my training, we were always taught NOT to use a mounted flashlight or a laser because you are behind it if the bad guy has a firearm. That's the way i was taught. Not saying anyone is wrong.
ОтветитьI have flashlights all over but also one on each weapon. Rather see what I’m aiming at and potentially blind them than accidentally hit something I didn’t intend on hitting
ОтветитьThis is why I subscribed!!!
ОтветитьGreat everyday stuff for those of us who have not held tactical military positions. Making me re-think my interior lighting....
ОтветитьI guess that why training is important. You only have seconds and you waste it trying to turn or grab a flashlight. In your own home you should know every angles
ОтветитьI'm sorry but no! This is a genuinely stupid idea that will get the average homeowner seriously hurt or even killed. Barricade yourself in your bedroom, get your Home-defense weapon ready, call 911. Preferably from a land line. Get behind your bed, after making sure your bedroom door is locked. Wait for the police to arrive. If you go out your bedroom door with your gun, responding officers might mistake you for the intruder; and open fire.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. We keep all our porch lights on at night.
ОтветитьThank you for this very useful training information and especially information specifically about lighting at night.
ОтветитьLead the Way!
ОтветитьBoth gun mounted as well as handheld. Ambient lighting but I like your suggestions. 👍
ОтветитьMy preferred flashlight is olight
ОтветитьWhatever happened to that cop that used to teach tactical?
ОтветитьIt's the Gamology guy!
ОтветитьWould it be easier and safer just use security cameras in the house?
ОтветитьI have both hand held and weapon mounted. Hand held first ,till I have to change...like picking up a grandchild or moving a family member
ОтветитьGlock 49 MOS with a tlr7a weapon mounted light, Holosun SCS optic, and truglow tritium night sights. As well as a Mossberg 500. I rent a very small place on somebody's cattle ranch in Central Florida. I keep the exterior well lit. I have a low light setting in the kitchen, which throws enough light into the living room for backlighting purposes. There Are No Children Here, and my son has plenty of 2A options for defensive purposes as well.
ОтветитьThanks 👍
ОтветитьI have a small hand held light that’s apart of my EDC. As to in case it’s not needed, I don’t point a loaded light at something I’m not willing to destroy. My light is also a tactical metal light with small protruding squares off the front for blunt impact use, & also equipped with stunning capabilities for those non lethal options against an assault of the unarmed attacker that chooses to use their hands & feet.
ОтветитьWOW COOL!
ОтветитьWe have solar lights all around the perimeter and entry points of our house. Reliable ones. In that way if something or someone cuts the power, our house is still lit up. In addition, the areas outside of our bedroom and its entry hallway, are light with night lights. If I peek out of my bedroom doorway I can verify if anything is moving in the rest of the open floor plan living area in a heartbeat. Lights are our friends, and bad guy's enemies.
ОтветитьI do handheld, please throw tips on the best techniques of high ready and tac light in other hand.
Ответить1st my Cane corso will....😂 then i get my shottie
ОтветитьNice video!
ОтветитьIm concerned of sweeping an area with my firearm for lighting
ОтветитьI have lighting all outside.
Inside dark as hell. Have claymores at every entry point! I sleep like a baby at nights!
Government can afford Surefire. We bluecollar guys have to look for more affordable options.
ОтветитьYou guys are simply committed to providing excellent training and the fact that you really “ Bust It” during your demos is really impressive! Keep up the great work it refreshes for a lot of us and gives different perspective (for example, ambient light and handheld guy).
Ответитьstreamlight tlr-7 on a glock 19 for me that's all I need
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts on securing a bedroom that you have to move through a large area of the house or the route is exposed to a large portion of the house? For example a small house, bedrooms on different floors or the all of the bedrooms could be seen from the foyer of the house.
ОтветитьI turn the lights on in my home I’m not sneaking around my own house light go on gun in hand out side my home weapon mounted
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьShoutout to Cameron, the gun guy gamers ifykyk
ОтветитьAs info, TLR1HL or other high lumen lights aren't the best idea in tight quarters and/or areas that are highly reflective (such as white walls or walls with any kind of gloss), ask me how I know... Best to dry run your stuff to see how it performs and what to expect.
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьWith kids in the house I use handheld light. I do not always want the light pointing in the same direction as my firearm.
ОтветитьAs a 40 year electrician, I've seen many different lights, but most important , lighting controllers. In the past 10 years we've seen a complete "overhaul" of lighting choices. If I may make a suggestion: For a bump in the night, consider what you would like to see happen. Do you want to capture someone, or would you be satisfied to see the intruder beat a hasty retreat? If you want to run him off, 2 of the best options are Motion detection (but not what you think) and wifi lighting.
Imagin approaching a house in the night. A floodlight comes on. You look, see the motion detector and think no big deal. But what if that motion detector turns on a light inside the house when it detects someone in the yard? First, you see light come on through a window and think someone is up/home when you thought everyone was asleep or gone. At the same time, the light awakens the homeowner/tenant.before the intruder enters the house.
But if someone gets into the house undetected until that "Bump" that's when the wifi lights are worth their cost. A flashlight is good, but if you can backlight the intruder without revealing your position, that's better. You choose the room to light up first while you remain in the dark. This works best with a partner because phones can be bright enough to give up your location
Hall light on, quick look, then off. Bedroom light on, look, off. Then start lighting the house - farthest room first Watch for shadows
If your house is pitch black, be sure you don't end up in the same room as the intruder in the dark
Chances are good that when the lights start coming on throughout the house, you'll hear a door slam and the intruder will be gone.
But don't be too confident.
These guys know how to clear a house.
I only know how to light it up
I prefer the good ol pressure switch car airbag under the floormat at the doorway. I made sure the cat won't set it off, but hes pretty shady too. He'll mess them up if they come through a window. 2nd floor apartment.
ОтветитьI have a compact olight i3T EOS
It sucks cause you have 2 mod and you cant set the mod
There is also a strobe effect when you have low battery
Dont buy it 🙂 even cheap light do the work
Lost me @ California.
ОтветитьFENIX lights are super - check them out!
ОтветитьI'm guessing the other guy is the Seal, i know Cam and he was never in the Navy. 😂 He even name drops ranger regiment in the video.
ОтветитьVery useful and practical info here!
Ответить$300 for a small flashlight is mind blowing.
