Calli Talks About HoloAdvent and Why Myth Might Become so Individual 【Mori Calliope / Hololive】

No joke, i don't think i ever saw an entire gen that bounces off so well with each other like advent does.

It takes effort and commitment to the group to do things like the Advent group did. Sadly, with Myth you basically have a bunch of individuals who are focused up on other parts of their careers or who are entirely checked out at this point.

being fair, is way easier for Advent and Justice now that Cover recently is giving EN better support. Myth basically did all their early projects and cool collabs on their own with barely any support

i remember before one of them said most of the big myth events was organized by ame so it's understandable we don't get a whole lot anymore

I think it's safe to say that Ame is the one who glued them together

It didn't help that only 2 of the myth members were reliable, the other three not so much

At least Ame had funny little projects that united HoloEN and specially Myth, but now that she isn't here anymore... there's nobody who could do that...

I mean when 3 of your gen mates are notorious introverts that have admitted to being so shy that they have a hard time asking anyone for a collab of course it's going to feel different from Advent.

Sometimes I wonder what Council / Promise wish or hope they could do.....

It's only normal myth is as it is now. It's the same for jp mems.
The longer relationships go, the shorter the time they spend with each other. Which isn't a bad thing, you still have great fondness of each other and still talk and see each other every once in a while, you'll have stories to tell and catch up.

I miss those old days where myth had regular collab, same for hope council.

Or someone couldn't keep their mouth shut, said something that made things awkward and since nobody in their gen is a diplomat, it got worse. Who knows? Just talking out of my ass.. You know it's her. Always been.

It’s the same way in JP. They started having a lot more emphasis on the gen as a group starting with the 3rd gen.

Myth and Council/Promise introduced me to Hololive so I can enjoy Advent and Justice. For that, no matter what happens, I hold mad respect for them.

Its okay tbh, everyone is different. Thats what make each one of it is unique.

Honestly I see Gura going sooner than later, I don't think she cares for being in the spotlight as basically the most popular of the EN holos. I could see her going back to her old personality at some point.

Myth use to do it like Advent because Ame was there but when Ame left. It wasn’t the same anymore 😢. Hololive is holding back Ame creativity ideas….

I can understand Calli on this. But Myth was a time when they couldn’t really meet each other in person. Just like the rest of the world. Their growth was buffed because everyone was stuck at home. Individual talent was center stage and cobe of many reasons why Myth exploded into the Vtuber world. Advent has been able to travel and meet each other. Some even before debut. It’s much harder for later Gens to accumulate the numbers Myth accomplished with just a year in Hololive. They might not call Myth “Senpai” but Advent does see them as Senpais.

Hell, I’ve seen Sora talk about how later JP Gens are really close to each other. Very different from her Hololive experience.

My guess is that’s why the ReGloss and Flowglow teams were put together, so they can better solidify as a unit instead of this falling apart that myth and subsequent council/promise have done.

As I'm saying before, Yagoo truly hit the gem mines with Advent. They not only worked very well individually, but also having amazing synergy as a group.

Myth did plenty of group stuff together first year, even year two with Ame pulling CouncilRyS into group events like Halloween. It's true Myth doesn't do as much together anymore, but they paved the way and still gave a lot of peak content in their day

to the people saying advent was close from the start please watch their first L4D2 collab it's really awkward lol, I'm happy they all seem to have developed a lot of unity and comfort with each other since then

Myth always had trouble with doing stuff together. Even during their first year, just getting one whole gen collab together required so much excess planning due to the multiple timezones. Advent overall got super close from the start and kept it going even when some of them ended up in Japan.

Advent and Justice do remind me of Myth during their day of dawn.

Ame's graduation seems to have caused them to drift further apart from each other, but I hope they collaborate together again ❤️

Sadly, I feel that with myth Ame was the project maker that planned group events and stuff, now everyone else is too busy to do so

Without Ame there are no ideas to do as a group with Myth

Considering everything that had happened, Myth and Promise might be potentially merged, again

HoloMyth was the first EN gen and Cover honestly didn't know what to look for or planned to create. They literally just found a bunch of girls with different dreams and threw them together. After getting more experience with more gens Cover refined their talent acquisition process and with Advent and Justice, they clearly were out to create a well synced group with unified goals.

April Fools stems from the time when Europe moved the Start of the New Year from April 1st/Spring...
To January 1st/mid winter & around Solstice.

People still celebrated In April... and became known as April Fools.
It doesn't help there used to be a Spring Feast day, where Revelers would travel around Drinking & Merrymaking. (Essentially acting like Fools)

I absolutely feel this! In childhood I would hang out with cousins around my age during family gatherings, but that we’re grown up we don’t have much time for each other since we after other stuff on our plate.
Added negative that we are also introverted as well so even in a group chat no one talks much or send memes…

2 things i wanna note:

ame being affliated means no more stream, but dosent say collabs or guest apperances

eventually a bae and kronii collab is sad, because its technically a holocouncil collab, add irys and thats a holopromise colab

Sigh* Don't be sad they don't happen anymore, be happy we can look back or even watch them at all. Altho I really do miss my beloved Myth as a whole together. Idc how old we all get, I will always remember the years I'd watch their collabs, events, hardships, and all the Generation paving things they did and are doing. Myth is the CARRY of vtuber english at 2020 and will always be..
So when myth is losing their member, you will see the community will start to crumble..

The management dont realize this, when gura ame go.. The myth will also gone..
Whatever the disagreement they have with their talent, if Fauna, ame, gura is gone.. Atleast for me i have no interest with hololive stream..

I mean only time will tell long term, but Advent has been in my opinion the best EN generation when it comes to image, streaming and working both as a group and individually (rightfully referring to FuwaMoco as one entity in this example, as they should not be separated). Like all the generations are great, and I both have and had favourites from all generations, but advent has just ticked all the boxes.

I miss early Myth so much. I will cherish these memories forever. Even though they don't do much together on stream these days, I hope they get along well off stream. That is all that counts for me. Most importantly, I hope Goomba is happy doing what the shork is doing.

My partner feels the same way about April Fools AND IT SUCKS.

Myth has strong individual characteristics while advent has strong group ties

The thing is too due to their circumstances they all had to come up individually seperated from each other making it harder to do these massive projects being all so far apart from one another it makes sense they just don’t collaborate on massive projects like this.

But Advent activities are own to Myth.
