Great to see some Pico again and congratulations to your “new” kitchen, looks great. Looking forward to your video about cost of living and it would be great to know the cost of the building construction business, think you will get some experience in your new house. Take care.
ОтветитьThose oranges🍊...now I'm craving one.
ОтветитьGreat seeing your new video, yeah I would rather be in the AZORES right now too... I will be in S.Miguel soon... keep up the great work guys the AZORES will be a hot spot...👍😎💨🥞🌱✌️
ОтветитьWhen you do the "medical video", you could maybe ask a local dentist to give you a sheet of fees for dental procedures. We had one from a dentist from Algarve who spoke English. You will be amazed how much cheaper than Canada is it for the same procedure.
ОтветитьYou guys are a lovely couple. The rawness of your videos makes them feel very natural and relatable. Keep it up, guys; I'm following you :)
ОтветитьPerfect place to retire , can't wait
ОтветитьHello guys, love it love it ! Carlos you have it in your blood, the way you cut a peace of cheese , its amazing how your actions bring back childhood memories .keep up the good work . Laura will do great there and is so talented ,I feel like painting my cupboards ...Saude!
ОтветитьA lot of vitamine C to keep away all the vírus around 😂 I would go for a swim next time, water temperature is simply great in Winter. Enjoy!
ОтветитьI was born in Pico and came to the USA when I was just a wee lad. You guys are making me homesick! Thank you so much and keep up the good work! I didn't think much of the soup at first, but it really came together nicely!
ОтветитьGreat job on the cabinets and love the office area I take it you guy's are going to be on Pico for a while because of the covid restrictions back here in Ontario.
ОтветитьThank you again, Laura and Carlos.
Would you be kind enough to show the town part of Pico ? I mean, if one wishes to go once in a while for dinner into town...how is it ?
Love your videos !
Namaste🙏🏻
Brings back memories where I was brought up in Madeira. I do grow my own fruit etc here in the uk but ofcourse is not the same. Nice blog guys!
ОтветитьAcho que vocês entendem português, certo?
Parabéns pelos vídeos. Há muito tempo sou fascinado pelos arquipélagos portugueses e penso em talvez um dia poder me mudar para uma dessas belíssimas ilhas.
Grande abraço daqui do Brasil!
Great video again guys. Can’t wait to visit you guys there one day. Nice job on the cabinets Laura!
ОтветитьIt is true... My wife and I are one week away (8 days and counting) from owning a house and property on Santa Maria. I do have a question, about the moisture on the mountainside that we are purchasing. Would it be strategic to insulate the attic area to help reduce moisture? We already have a dehumidifier, but would like a non-energy method to reduce moisture. :) Paul & Faye Weckle 2/10/2021
ОтветитьÉ isso! Qualidade de vida... acho que deviam aproveitar mais essas piscinas marítimas e nadar mais um bocado ( sempre em segurança ). . Abraço
ОтветитьKitchen is looking great. I have been on Madeira only in winter, November till March, but nearly everyday I had a swim in the sea.. I love it. Hopefully I can move to Madeira as soon as the lockdowns are over. Love from Scotland.

Love seeing the January weather. Actually love listening to water/ocean sounds behind you.
ОтветитьYou could make marmalade as you can use the whole fruit including the skin!! The oranges look indeed very juicy and I am sure very sweet.I always enjoy your video's Carlos and Laura. Look forward to see more.
ОтветитьThank you for your videos! We are hoping to move to one of the islands part-time. Question: have you heard if the Azores will be letting Americans in if we have been vaccinated? Also, will they give special permission now or in the near future to those who will be looking for real estate? We are so excited and watch every video we can find!
ОтветитьDo You have instagram?
ОтветитьI Love the simple life of the Azores, you can actually live in the moment and enjoy life at a comfortable pace, unfortunately us north americans are constantly living in a tomorrow that never comes
ОтветитьI just found your channel! Love it! I’m Portuguese but immigrated to Australia in 1983. Que saudades that i have, was meant to visit last year but covid happened. Keep up with your videos!
ОтветитьWe have been trying for months to get our NIF but, to no avail. We have contacted the Portuguese consulate for assistance but they have referred us to multiple companies who have not returned our emails/phone calls. Can you guys recommend/suggest anyone that can help us with obtaining our NIF? We are US citizens........... Side note: My Ancestry DNA test confirmed that I'm part Portuguese/Spanish no wonder I'm drawn to the Azores!
ОтветитьThank you for this, you made my day ❤❤❤
ОтветитьHello from Macau. Hope to visit you in Açores one day 😃
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video- I always loved traveling off season. My first time in Portugal was in January and I found it lovely. Hope to make it to Pico one day...maybe when your little cottage gets done! Looking forward to the upcoming videos. Obrigada!
ОтветитьYou have to get a muff for you mic. Too much wind noice
ОтветитьSeems like it rains a lot there
ОтветитьOh god !!! these just give me saudades...
ОтветитьThank you! I have been formulating going to the AZORES for health reasons. #1 is no pesticides in the environment. Do you find this to be accurate?
ОтветитьI love all of the details you are covering!
ОтветитьYou're inspiring me to make the jump and purchase a property in the Azores. I'm working on my dual citizenship to streamline this process (I've heard it can make the process easier). Thanks again for all the amazing content you are putting out.
ОтветитьHello to Carlos and Laura from the other side of the Atlantic. My teens and I have lived on an east Coast Atlantic Island for three of the last 10 years plus winters for the other seven years. Our next big move will be to the Azores. We’re watching all of your videos and learning so much. We think our toughest decision will be which island to choose. Both teens are artists, do you recommend one island above the others with an art community? We will be bring our German Shepherd who loves island life as well as our parrot. We enjoyed the video with the very articulate parrot! We also enjoy picking oranges that grow wild here as well as figs, grapes and berries. 🤣 Thank you!
ОтветитьBeautiful island!
ОтветитьBeautiful video. We want to visit Azores in last week of January and visit Sau Miguel and Flores. Do you recommend travelling in January considering it's wettest of the year ? You think we will be able to hike those wonderful trails ? Your feedback will decide our plans considering you live there.
Ответитьgreat info. I'm visiting in march and was wondering how cold. I'm not so worried now
ОтветитьCanadian here who cannot wait to get there; just trying to figure out what to pack but if I make the wrong choices I can top up when I get there. Azores, here I come!
The misty weather is definitely good for the complexion! Thanks for the great videos!
Is speaking English enough to visit the island ?
As a French having learned some Spanish, I can read some Portuguese but I do not understand any spoken Portuguese.
