Ответить10/10 Would enjoy writing in that book
Ответитьhello there your bookbinding is beautiful, I wanted to know what do you use for the hardcover backing material?
ОтветитьPerfect job 😮
ОтветитьOh my dear heavens. I LOVE book binding and would watch more but beyond that… u r a left handed artist ❤ u have great hands ❤ your work is amazing ❤ Overall i am in awe. Thank u for sharing ur amazing talent. Wow!❤
ОтветитьABSOLUTELY STUNNING....you are amazing and although I've never done bookbinding, I was totally immersed in the tutorial. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery nice. Elegance in your art and craftsmanship/
ОтветитьGreat series of videos! I'm not sure I'll ever work with leather, but fascinating to see the process of paring down the edges for bulk reduction. Waxing the cover paper is brilliant! I'd never have thought of it, but it definitely makes sense to give it a little bit of extra protection.
ОтветитьOK !
ОтветитьBeautiful! 💖
ОтветитьI like your video, thanks.
ОтветитьLooks absolutely beautiful
ОтветитьYou are really good at what you do. I gel print and want to use my rrinte to cover and use as the cover page but not sure what paper to use and how to make it strong enough to last 50 + years can you help me.
ОтветитьA M A Z I N G !!!
ОтветитьNow that, is one beautiful book! I am so tempted to try this when I finally get around to leather, been working with paper so far.
ОтветитьThanks for the amazong video!
A question for you, i've made a similar book but after letting the book drying after the casing in process, the cover doesen't open "well" after a certain point.
It feels like the endpapers want to tear apart at the crease point. What i've done wrong? Maybe the endpaper paper was too thin? I didn't put the steel plate like youm by the way but only two sheets of plastic to prevent moisture.
Beautiful. I've watched all episodes for this book, lots of visible information broken down making it easy to follow. Thankyou. I'm planning to make another book and will use these videos for reference. Thank you agsin
Ответить本の出来栄え素晴らしい👍、綺麗な紙はイタリア🇮🇹、ベニスを紹介する番組でも工房が紹介されていました。
ОтветитьWonderous!
Ответитьgolden hands. I watched all 5 processes without interruption
ОтветитьBeautiful book. I’ve seen various videos and none with as much detail, but then I’ve never seen a book made with leather and paper design for the cover. Keep going. It’s great work.
ОтветитьThat was the most hypnotic series I have watched in a long time. That....was art. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьThis is one of the most beautiful processes I have ever witnessed. Like others have expressed before me, I felt as though I could weep for the sadness of this lost art, and the joy of its representation.
ОтветитьTrabalho maravilhoso 😍
Você tem o dom!
Me emocionó ver su creación. Gracias por su video, tan inspirador en estos tiempos digitales y acelerados.
Ответитьgreat video series, but id say for future videos try placing your camera infront of your hands, most of the time i couldnt see what you were doing, no explanations of why. I enjoyed it but i came here to learn.
ОтветитьNow I see what you meant by the PVA setting up faster and being unforgiving compared to the Wheat Glue you use in other videos. It was obvious when you cut the teeny strip of blue leather. Meticulously done! ♥
ОтветитьWhen do you use PVA glue vs when do you use wheat paste?
ОтветитьThankyou for sharing … loved the entire process. You are a master.
ОтветитьGuauuu!! Bellísimo...
ОтветитьI just watched your video of the little notebooks. It's absolutely amazing. I so enjoyed it, and it's so relaxing to watch your talents ❤
ОтветитьI was so scared that some part went wrong! The whole process is incredible.
ОтветитьExcelente!!! Gracias por tu esfuerzo 😍🥰!
ОтветитьSolamente dos palabras: ADMIRACIÓN y RESPETO. Enhorabuena.
ОтветитьWow you have always made quality content. Great filing. Love the voice overs you do now though! I learned so much just watching you in this video though. I am going to be making my husband a book for his first Father’s Day as a father 💕
ОтветитьA question about your scissors, if you don't mind. I see you using what appear to be some large and very old shears, possibly Wiss brand? Do you ever resort to smaller scissors, or do you prefer the heft of the ones I've seen you using?
ОтветитьI'd love to make a book.
ОтветитьUnbelievable! What a profoundly beautiful process. And book! I wonder how much he charges for a book like that.
ОтветитьRealmente maravilloso proceso y resultado Perfecto muy hermoso! Gracias por mostrar cada etapa 🙏💞🙏 lo disfrute mucho!☺️
ОтветитьMaking beautiful things with your own two hands gives so much peace in this fast world. Your books are made with love and care. You don’t need loud, flashy, bright effects, you don’t need to chat, to talk, to advertise. We sit and watch and are in awe. Thank you very much for sharing this piece of art. In times where everything needs to be fast, cheap and easy, I hope we never loose crafty people like you.
ОтветитьWas absolutely fascinating to watch you make a book! Love the video style with music and no talking. In awe of your work. Thank you so much for sharing.
Ответитьpoor math book:(
ОтветитьOh, this is just beautiful! In this increasingly fast paced world full of factory mass production lines how absolutely wonderful to watch your exquisite craftsmanship. Slow, gentle, methodical and meticulous. This is clearly a skill that has been honed over many years.
Thank you for sharing your joy and your expertise with the world. Very best wishes to you and yours.
how many hours in total does this take you?
ОтветитьThat was absolutely amazing.
ОтветитьBeautiful book
ОтветитьA work of art
ОтветитьGorgeous work! You're an blessed artist! Thank you for sharing this video!
ОтветитьI have noticed that most book binders when doing a quarter cover binding instead of putting the edge of the leather over the edge of the paper, which seems more logical to me, they'll put the edge of the paper over the leather instead. Is their a reason for this or is it personal preference?
