Cane Creek Double Barrel - Spring Preload Adjustments

Great video for the basics for those of us new to a coil shock.

Quick q - when engaging the spring - I just did it by 'feel' but this is affected by using the tool to turn the collar ( despite cleaning its still not spinning as freely as I'd hoped ). So is there a definable 'point' when you know the spring is engaged - such as the spring starts wanting to turn with the collar or such like? Cheers.
