Silver Springs State Park, formerly known as Silver River State Park, was one of Florida's first tourist attractions. Silver Springs has been famous since the 1870s; it is Florida’s best-known spring. The community is part of the Ocala metropolitan area. As of now, swimming is not permitted at Silver Springs, but boating, kayaking, and canoeing are welcomed. You can rent a kayak or bring your own. The place is also known for its Glass Bottom Rides. Alligators sun themselves along the waters of Silver Springs, but I have not seen any on this ride. There were a lot of birds and turtles and the water was a magical turquoise color. It was very clear and full of fish.

Silver Springs is one of the best places for Kayaking. I enjoyed my time. I often go Kayaking in Florida so here are some more of my videos
