Laal Maas is a royal dish from Rajasthan. Traditionally Laal Maas used to cook with deer meat and a variety of red chili cultivated from a place name Mathaniya. Nowadays deer meat is replaced by goat meat as hunting is restricted all over India. This dish tastes amazingly delicious and has a different taste due to a generous amount of Mathaniya chilies. In the past, I have already cooked this dish with fresh Mathaniya chili. In this video, I am cooking Laal Maas with dried Mathaniya chilies as these are easily available and can be stored for a longer time.
