I don't get why he said that 'humans became monsters when they in a stress-free state'? is it a bad translation from what is meant to be a 'hypnosis'? because film is sure about hypnosis and a heavily stressed detective.

It was reported that director Jūzō Itami committed suicide by jumping off a building, but many people believe he was murdered by the yakuza. This belief stems from a former yakuza boss who confessed in a book after Itami's death that he had targeted Itami. Additionally, while Itami's suicide note mentioned infidelity as the reason, those who knew him said he would never take his own life for such a reason. Furthermore, there are claims that Itami was targeted because he was planning to make a film about the dark side of drug-induced harm. Jūzō Itami's film *Tampopo*, which is about a ramen shop, is truly outstanding.

That's why I didn't like "The Blood of Wolves", Koji Yakusho is way too calm and humble for me to believe his part.
