I think the moral of the story here is no matter what ideology you have there are folks that will use it to poison the minds of the desperate to make themselves no better than the ones you ran away from in the first place.

Folks let me make this clear, the communism that countries like China presents is not the real communism but a fascist state that used the idea of communism as a blanket term to manipulate the population of a dream to counter at the time colonialism, feudalism, and yes unchecked capitalism.

I don’t think k folks are looking into the mirror and understanding that the unchecked capitalism we’re dealing with today is a few hairs away from being like China. Ask yourself this question, who supplied Communist China with money and technology to become a rival to the USA? I’ll wait.

Comparing Chinese low wage jobs to US doesn't make much sense like US has limited man power so labours are simply valued more while china has a lot of manpower to pull from so menial jobs like construction pays less as its a bottom line job

You cant complain about pensions. Back in the day you got nothing and you were expected to die. Pensions are something from that past that rich people had or its something that privileged people have now. Not a gripe or complaining that some get one. There are millionaires who will never one. That is fine. My problem is that society has this expectation that one is supposed to be there.

My dad gets social security, not a pension and his monthly payments are what factory workers around here expect for their gross pay per week.

It is what it is, but we shouldnt expect pensions. We shouldnt even expect social security. The model where people took care of family instead of relying on outward resources is where it should be.

The problem is china’s economy is the same as the US, government overreach and regulations screw everyone over. Along with things like state mandated pensions and other silly things
