This is very important …Take it as recommended . I never deviate the doctors orders . In my case it’s One a day and that’s it. NEVER take more and never crush the pellets , that’s when people run into problems that lead to dependency and abuse .If taken correctly and you actually have adhd it will change your life in a positive way. If you venture outside of its intended purpose it will have negative effects on you

Why are docs so willing to prescribe adderall but not benzos or opiates? Adderall is an addictive and easily abused substance like any narcotic drug. Why can I be sped out, but not calmed down? Also some info, I took 40mg of adderall a day for a about 6 months and had to stop because my heart felt awful and I stopped sleeping. I now have a xanax prescription and it's helped me way more than adderall ever did. I also would abuse adderall where I avoid doing so with xanax. I'm autistic so have a list of mental issues which is why they've tried so many different things on me.

This is very interesting to learn. When I was first prescribed Adderall I use to Experience those side effects I later changed my diet from a meat diet to plant base and all of the side effects went away. Furthermore, are there any research study done on those who are diagnosed with ADHD and if they change their diet with that reduce or remove the side effects of Adderall?

Very cool. I just took some of my friends Adderall, heard I was supposed to eat something with it, so I drove to Wendy's and took it there. Drove home then to work. Don't feel any different. But it was called something else, not specifically Adderall. It was 15mg, and it was an extended release or something. So I just might not be feeling it yet, but that was like 5 hours ago. My heart rate is 90 when resting and my eyeballs feel more full if that makes any sense, but those could just be placebo thoughts. I thought maybe it would help more, but it's eh.

We don't have Adderall in the Netherlands, only methylphenidate and dexamphetamine.

Weight loss..pfft...I wish I got that side effect. My ADHD must have been really bad because all it does for me is me is make it so I'm not dead tired every day. Sure, it does help me focus a bit..but considering I have issues with hyperfocusing, I often focus on stuff for hours and don't do other things I should be doing..like eating.

I have some side-effect questions I wonder if others have experienced. 1. Sometimes my tongue becomes painful, with inflamed taste buds. I also feel muscle soreness and blurred vision (not distance but close distance is blurred). I don't notice any other side effects.

I take 60mg of adderall a day. 60 is the max not 40
