good luck
ОтветитьThank yoi
ОтветитьThe idea is actually the same put something on the skin as sensor, the sensor gather data and send it to a device, but WHY is it not working for the smartwatch ?
Is it because of profit ? It's probably a proprietary tech that's not sold to device manufacturers for the sake of profit so smartwatch manufacturer cannot use the tech and apply it to their watches ?
thank you. I'll keep on picking the finger!
ОтветитьThank You
ОтветитьThanks. Expected yet informative for the naive people out there.
ОтветитьIt's bad enough seeing all these oxygen meters being sold off as glucose meters, let alone these. If like a continuous glucometer, but Australia only subsidises them for type I diabetics. Fair enough. I won't be getting one unless I can hire it or whatever for specific circumstances. I just see the cost of using these as a waste of money, while trying to save on jabs and test strips. Rats.
ОтветитьI've been taking my blood glucose readings for several years now, roughly for 5 years. But only yesterday did my new Dr tell me to pick my finger on the sides so that I don't take away the sensitivity of my fingertips! Why don't they say that in the first place? I am basically onto finger number 7 as I can't get blood from the other fingers any more. Scar tissue...
ОтветитьThanking you
Ответитьit is all scam and fake it not exist an watch without Sensores that work
ОтветитьVery inaccurate. Scam.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThanks will not buy. Diabetic for 47 years.
ОтветитьThank you you have saved me money.
ОтветитьShockingly, when is video ended, I was presented with an advertisement for a non-invasive blood glucose monitor
ОтветитьI have one of these. My sense is it's not so much testing the blood glucose as it is the other factors it's monitoring - your pulse, your temperature, your spo2 level, time of day, etc. The app seems to have a feature to allow you to match a real time glucometer so that it can properly calibrate the range. Unfortunately, the highest number it will let me set is 140, which is lower than my normal fasting reading. The consequence is that it's real time reading is significantly lower than the real number.
ОтветитьThe one I bought was not accurate. Scam.
ОтветитьThank you sooo much for video. Save money and life.🎉😮
ОтветитьYou are Great 👍. Very enlightening
ОтветитьI heard some time ago that Apple was looking into this... the fact they haven't released anything kind of says a lot but it would be nice if some company does it... they do have glucose monitors that do work but they are expensive
ОтветитьAn advert i saw online today brought me here a year after you posted. You're still relevant sir! Ty These watches are so misleading and occasionally the CGM meters can be as well. I wish i found your channel when my husband's numbers viewed drastically different from the cgm and the finger stick tests. Dr insisted he'd use the cgm so they could monitor the graph at his appointments (i guess our daily detailed log we painstaking keep with every detail of his food intake and 4 finger stick reads daily didn't seem as accurate as the wonky monitor readings of the new fancy freestyle libre cgm 🤦♀️) Well we quickly learned those little monitors measure differently occasionally wayyyy differently than a blood fingerstick. I spent hours on the phone with Abbott the makers of freestyle. Honestly they taught us more than the drs office had time to do. Their customer service thankfully took time and one girl actually called back the next day to check on me to make sure he was doing better. It was very kind and not part of their normal script. Her kindness was welcomed. It made the difference for us to keep trying to use it in spite of the frightening difference in numbers we were seeing. Turns out those cgm that drs reply on, because technology helps if it works right, will not only give the usual 20-40 point difference from the blood stick but can give life threatening errors due to sensor issues. We learned things from Abbott and brought it to the drs attention. The company's have upgraded their machines/senors fortunately over the last few years They're getting better but there's still human error. Placement and adherence is key. I'm sure i will find more or similar info in the next video of yours i watch lol Those watches are trash atm but i believe like you said someone somewhere is working on the background working on the concept Probably closer than we imagine lol i appreciate your time video and all the information you have given. You have a new sub Many thanks 😊
Ответитьthank you well done!
ОтветитьI talked to the manufacturer of my smart watch that is supposed to measure my blood pressure (not blood sugar), which also uses a green laser. Supposedly the green laser is supposed to track the movement and changes in apparent viscosity of someone's blood over small period with rapid readings to estimate things like blood pressure and even blood glucose levels. They admitted it's not very accurate but hoped with time they could make them more accurate. I don't know if the concept behind it is very scientistic at all. Sure, loads of glucose on the blood could change the viscosity of the blood, but I'm not sure current laser tech is accurate enough to do that through skin due to the populations large variation of skin thickness, etc.
ОтветитьGlucose watch subroutine ==> display random numbers between 3.9 to 8.9, the green light is just a LED that does absolutely nothing.
ОтветитьThank you for your review. I have hypoglycemia and those watch readings would be quite dangerous for someone with my disease.
ОтветитьThank you for this. I was looking into purchasing one of these watches!
ОтветитьI'm subscribed and really glad that I am. Your videos, your tests are such high quality. The information is great, I'm learning more with every video. And your tests are done so fairly for well rounded results. I appreciate content creators like you who truly hold to a high standard. Thank you!
Ответитьit is an easy game e noname smartwatches, go and make a comparison w serious brands pls, thanks anyway and recover soon
ОтветитьWhen changing decom sensor, calibration is required for acute readings so testing with a metor is necessary. I use dexcom. Danny Banford
ОтветитьThank you😮
ОтветитьWow, while watching this video, a fraudulent ad came on. Saying it was a device developed by Guys and St Thomas hospital, for monitoring blood sugar, oxygen and pressure. I looked it up, and Guys and St Thomas hospital have put out a warning about it!
ОтветитьI am so pleased i listened to this rather than ordering the discounted Amazon watch it has saved me a quarter of my pension that i would have wasted . Thankyou so much 🙏🏻
Ответить"It's a piece of junk"
ОтветитьThanks for the heads up 👌🏽
ОтветитьDO NOT BUY THIS ..... I purchased it and not only does it not work, but the seller Technology Trade will NOT refund without returning to CHINA! The cost to return it is anywhere from $75.00 yo obrt $300. I regret not using Amazon and getting a guaranteed refund. Technology Trade is a SCAMMER!!!!
ОтветитьA video that promotes de product is very suspicious. Be careful
ОтветитьI don’t think the FDA approves this as a reliable glucose reading device. Not sure how they are selling them- but maybe from foreign countries
ОтветитьI've used my new smart watch with a glucose meter and found it fairly accurate with fasting blood sugar and spikes and Amazon doesn't sell them. Finally I can see that the whole Big Pharma is against this technology because it is so much cheaper and they would lose billions if we used watches that lasted years instead of testing kits that you have to buy continuously
ОтветитьI think you have your watch to low on your wrist(to close to your hand) place it higher and test again to see if that is better
ОтветитьThanks for doing this. I've been thinking about getting one of these. I'll stick with a CGM.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThe bands of many smart watches are made with forever chemicals that can leach into the skin and blood stream. Make sure you're wearing a safe band on your watch.
ОтветитьI can remember seeing a watch that did rise when eating jelly babies, (a sweet) 🍬 that video is on here somewhere saw this last year,
ОтветитьI used this watch and compared to the CGM. The blood sugar pattern did not match the pattern from the CGM. In fact, the same pattern was shown every day. I moved my meal times to mess teh watch up. If it had been reading the blood glucose, then the pattern would change, but it did not change.
ОтветитьThank you. I’ve just seen one (Neslemy) that’s 95% off, it seemed too good to be true. It was a pulse oximeter as well, and while my ultra cheap pulse oximeter works as well as any and so does my Fitbit, I’m not sure I trust a glucometer for such a cheap price. I’m not diabetic. My whole adult life I believe I’ve suffered from reactive hypoglycaemia. I remember trying out a glucometer at work as an intern and my blood glucose was 2.2 and they decided it was a mistake. Lately I’ve noticed a few episodes of hypoglycaemia, they don’t seem to be reactive anymore. The first time I wasn’t sure what the symptoms were and I checked and it said hypoglycaemia, so I had some sweets and it came right very quickly after that. Just had another the other day. Actually I remember years ago almost passing out while shopping, now I wonder if that was it too. But it’s pretty expensive to buy a glucose meter even if you are a diabetic here, if you’re lucky the strips are funded. So I was really hoping it was legitimate. I see there are several legitimate non-invasive meters, clearly these are not them.
ОтветитьThank you for your video!
ОтветитьThanks for the info. How do you calculate the numbers to make them from 6.2 to 112 , for example?
ОтветитьThese things are s dangerous scam. They DO NOT WORK…..
