When you refer to the improvised parts, do you mean the inside-the-piano stuff, or the part on the keys once you sit down (or both)? I can hear the Messiaen influence -- though I'm not sure I would have picked up on it had you not mentioned it. It's like each of your hands represents one of the two pianos...

Both - all of the right hand piano parts that aren't chords happening while I'm singing. The Messiaen piece was a smaller influence, more in terms of general vibe than anything. Crumb was definitely the prime influence here.
