As for the Ubisoft future, if it ends up to be Tencent + Guillemot, that is the worst combination possible, almost dystopic. I know Tencent has a very negative reputation, but I rather see a hostile take over, Tencent controls the company, remove Guillemot (by the way, they are evil, there's literally a lawsuit going on, the CEO allowed sex harassment to run free, protected abusers, etc). In my pov Guillemot is the poison, a lesser evil if compared to Tencent (to see how crazy this situation really are). Tencent will fire like 50% of the employees (there's 21k people working for Ubisoft, it's insane, mega developers like EA and Activision have about 13k people each), stabilized the leadership and alter the future plans, that is the most "positive" scenario. Luckily I am satisfied with the iconic IPs, Prince of Persia is my favorite series ever because of Sands of Time (iconic game of my childhood), that Sands trilogy is amazing, Lost Crown has some stupid check boxes but still a good game, Rogue Prince of Persia looks good, the Sands remake will come eventually, etc.. Splinter Cell remake will also be a thing eventually, Rayman will never come back, but at least I can replay Rayman Origins and Legends on my phone (Vita emulation is pretty cool). So really, as a old dude in my early 30s who is playing this hobby for a long time, I had enough from Ubisoft, if they implode, it will not be missed. And even for younger players, just emulate their old stuff from the golden age (the PS2 era), doesn't matter if Ubisoft lives or dies

Well done Gamers, I’m so proud of you for taking a stand against ill practises.

Corporations love to preach the virtues of capitalism when it means maximizing profits and squeezing every penny from their consumers. But the moment people exercise their freedom to reject subpar products, these companies panic. It’s almost like they forget that in a free market, customers have the right to say, ‘No, we don’t want your half-baked, uninspired content.’ Suddenly, it’s the consumers who are the problem, not their own laziness, greed, and refusal to innovate.

What they fail to understand is that the same system they exploit also empowers people to demand better. Ubisoft and other companies like it seem shocked when their audience grows tired of endless microtransactions, buggy releases, and recycled content. They built their empires on the assumption that people would swallow anything thrown at them. Now, they’re facing the uncomfortable reality that respect, quality, and genuine effort are worth more than empty promises and cash-grabs.

Look at for honor, quality control at its worst, map exploits, latency issues, crashes, matches closing randomly, the game braking bugs like looking under the map, balancing, and this translate to other titles too. But ive nvr seen a multiplayer game in such a state of disrepair. All the while pelleting u with season passes, and 1k h grind, over Mirco transaction.

So let me get this stright. Were supposed to buy thire games that we dont like becouse its the same low quality empty eorlds over and over again? Lol thats stupid. I buy games based on how fun they are. I watch gameplay videos from gamers that dont sell
Out and gives honest reviews tgats not paid for. I wait for twich streams and watch live gameplay from those streams. If graphics are bad or they keep just reskinning old games and using outdated game engines i dont buy. If the games have online microtransactions or lack of long qustlines thats unique and interesting and keeps my interest longer than a few weeks. Ill buy it. I borrow after watching twich streams before i buy. Thats what piracy is for. Try before you buy. If its good ill buy it if it sucks after a few weeks i pass on it.

Something you learn in Psychology is that 'most' people do not change till the face plant into Rock bottom. and even then people hardly change for the better when they've been incentivized to do the wrong thing for so long. Ubisoft is not going to get better. Tencent is going to cover it all up after purchase, and without ACTUAL investigative journalism from ign and the like it will keep replaying over and over.

First of all thank you for your videos. OK so the poor me me BS needs to stop. What they forget is WE are the customers. If we're not happy with your products you don't have the right to accuse the ones that PAY you for being mean. Their's a reason your stock tanked. It's not because of the customers, it's because you put out a terrible product. You give your shareholders who have no concept of a good game all this power and expect the creators who more then likely have alot of passion for games to set unrealistic times for a game to be released and send out a sub par product. And have the balls to ask why it's tanking? These corporate d bags don't understand gamers. They have no passion for the things we love. The only love they have for is money. And this is a prime example to other shareholders and game titles that with all your "power" we the gamers still control YOU. And if you put out crappy content then your fate will be the same as ubisoft. If you use your damn brains and put out amazing games, you'll make so much more then this rapid fire sup par bs.

A minority can’t tank the stock of a mega corporation like Ubisoft.

Make good product - sell lots of product.

I don't want the triple AAA gaming industry to collapse but I'm not buying the trash they are putting out and I have been buying that trash for 5 years now. I refuse to spend money on trash and if the AAA developers do not go back to making legitimately good games then they will collapse and will have no one to blame but themselves and I will be there to point and laugh because I saw this coming before gamer gate and game gate 2 were a thing. Even developers of games I like have been putting out trash and completely ignoring us the customer, the gamer like we don't matter when it's our money that built these developers. If they want to keep putting out trash and I keep putting that money into other hobbies that give me exactly what I want out of them. Also there's years worth of games I've been going back to and I'll just keep doing that as well. If the AAA gaming world collapses it's all on the devs and no one else

Good I hope all of these awful development companies and predatory business practices fail miserably. At some point, they are going to have to realize that as a service is not something that anybody wants really. It’s not the golden goose that can lay unlimited golden eggs. Unfortunately, these practices have worked for so long and I’ve tricked gamers for so long that it’s become their primary business model. It reminds me of the Hollywood remake machine cranking out every movie you’ve already seen before, because currently that’s the only safe bet that they can really make in order to easily make a ton of money. But it seems like people are slowly starting to get sick of that crap factory as well.

I love how they want to crank out like 10 assassins Creed game per year and then they wonder why people are getting sick of them. Like they have never heard of the concept of overexposure or being crippled by choice. Like I’ve never played an assassin‘s Creed game before and now there’s like 50 of them. Which one am I supposed to play? Is it an ongoing story, do I need to play the previous games understand was going on? If I want to play them in order even that’s a chore because they do the video game thing and they don’t number them anymore. Then if all of these games are games as a service, they’re just gonna shut them down in a couple of years anyway and then I can’t play them at all. So why would I get invested in a game that they’re gonna shut down in a couple of years Once it’s not a money factory anymore. Like I love video games, I’ve loved them all my life growing up. I can’t even imagine falling in love with the game and it being so fun and wonderful and then trying to come back to the game later on only to see that it doesn’t exist anymore. Like to me that’s basically unforgivable. They are creating a ton of art and using the skills and passion of talented people, only to occasionally flush all of their work down the toilet so nobody can ever see it anymore.

I agree aith most of what ya said mug... except that "these companys know exactly what they are doing"... thier arrogance and greed blocks the common sense to do what is right or save thier company... see betheda is the same company as Ubi-woke... they do the same thing over and over and tell gamers to buy thier bad games, that is what u get and oh by the way spend 3 times more on micro... the gamers have finally woke up to these re-skin comanies that are also pushing sick woke / Dei forced content in as well with thier bad play, glitchy mess of a game... making sure the gaming comunity stops spending money on this crap is exactly what needs to be done to shut them down... leaders control the emoyees, when leadership is so deranged thinking they can control the consumer it is way to far to correct and save... so I dont agree they know exactly what their doing... imo
