I’ve had problems with my iPhone 13 since day one, I regret buying it. I wish I could go back in time and buy an iPhone 12 pro max.

Yeah, my 13 mini was already barely passable with battery life and after 18.1 it’s much worse….hoping this gets better in 18.2….

Quite agree with you on this, ever since updated to 18.1 on my IPhone 13. Not just battery issues , overheating when using a few apps and screen freezing especially when using WhatsApp. Told my wife it’s Apple’s way of asking everyone on the 13 to move to the 16 😅😅. But that’s not happening

Also having very poor battery life on my 13 Pro Max. I got the battery replaced on iOS 17 and the battery life was great on that and 18 but it’s cooked on 18.1

My iPhone 13 Pro is at 74% and I’m on iOS 17 and for some reason it does last way longer than an iPhone 12 with 18.1 with 92% battery health

Idk what you talking about, my 13’s battery last as long as it lasted on ios17

iOS 18.1 on the iPhone 13 Pro seems to be the best of the iOS 18 versions on the 13 but it’s still not what it was when I was on iOS 17.6.x
I believe that was the last one I was on before I jumped to iOS 18

Why is Apple playing with their users? updates should improve technology or keep it stable and not make things function badly and wasting our money

Well of course they would seek to dumb down the 13 models. The performance is still very good, the cameras are still very good, the design is still very good. How on earth are they going to sell the 16 and 15 to people who are still satisfied with the phone they paid about a grand (or more) a few years back ? Oh, tank the battery. next thing you know, it's gonna lag sometimes. just a lil bit. to drive you crazy.

totally agree, id just gotten a new iPhone 13 a few days ago so the battery health is not a issue here. it came with ios 17 out of the box and the battery was amazing but I updated it to ios 18 ytd and the battery drains significantly faster. huge mistake

Yeah I just upgraded my Xr recently and I got a bug where the phon lags and shuts down at 20% and I didn’t experience this at iOS 17 ( my battery health is at 100%)

I have a 15P now but goddamn that battery on the 14P was bad lost 20% in a yr I had the 15 for 8 months and only 1% and I charge overnight

Voice dictation is terrible. It went really good on 18.1 and now it's terrible again.
