Sounds like it is going to be a bad year for fashion. Sounds like the theme is to either flaunt your wealth or give the illusion you are something you aren't. Don't care if bright colors are in: I will always wear neutrals which I would think would never go out of style. To me, neutrals are timeless and classy. There you have my two cents worth. 😁

Love your channel ❤This why I’ve never followed trends. Who wants to look like everyone. Quiet Luxury will never die. What needs to die is LV bags. Those with old money don’t need you to know how much something cost or the name plastered everywhere. I think the secret to every outfit is confidence. If you wear it as if you own it (YOU make it POP!) I went to school for fashion and the cool thing when I was growing up was individuality. We added a few trendy things but it was about standing out from the crowd & creating Art. Now stores rush to have what everyone is carrying. Thrifting is my happy place. The industry tricks you to think oh Green, Burgdy, & Gray are the new it colors. When were they not beautiful colors to wear? I think the Fashion Universe has forgotten or Never cared that the majority of women are 6ft tall. Most of these oversized ridiculous coats, pants, and tops don’t look flattering on my 5’3 frame. Never let the clothes wear YOU! You wear the clothes. I do love the street style of London, France, & Italy. I love the minimalist look, with pops of color, and a dose of WOW & I think that never goes out of style. 😊

Hey lady 👋👋!! Sounds like we are about to enter our anything goes era 😂😂 and I am here for it. My sister and I are best friends and dress absolutely nothing alike yet, it sounds like we will still be mostly on trend 😂.. In all seriousness, it seems that personal style is making a comeback and I think that's awesome. We don't need to look like everyone else... It gets monotonous quickly.. I am definitely looking forward to how everyone is styling themselves next year... And honestly, I will do what I've always done when it comes to trends and take the pieces that I'm interested in and add them to my classic wardrobe and leave the rest for everyone else so I can look at it and see how pretty they are... Thank you so much for all your hard work and awesome content!! 2025 is going to be interesting to say the least!!

My high school coat in the 90s was an olive green “barn coat” with brown corduroy collar and flannel lining from Eddie Bauer, one size too big, so to me it just fits in with the 90s resurgence in fashion. Did I live in the country? No, but it was just as practical for an active suburban teen in the Midwest. My daughter is 20 and I so regret not keeping my 90s staples because she would have loved them, but who knew?

It feels to me that the fashion industry is at a loss. They scramble to come up with something new each year, or even every few months but typically fail. This leads them back to trying to go back to past styles over and over.

I’m honestly so bored with “what’s in”. It’s making your everyday woman broke trying to keep up. I think the whole idea of trying to look like you’re from old money is something people need to get over. It’s such a self-defeating way to live, unless they actually do come from old money.

I love that so many styles are in right now although, I tend to wear what I like and don’t follow trends too often. I get compliments on my clothing and style everywhere I go so I’m pretty happy just doing me. I actually feel like I set the trends.

It’s not easy and it’s taken me a long time but I think rather than trying to be “on trend”, we should work on being our authentic selves and getting to the point where we really feel good about who we are and confident in our own body and with our own individual styles that actually work for us.

At almost 60 I have women of all ages, even very young girls, telling me how they love my clothes, my super long hair, or that I’m beautiful. Now, I don’t live for that but, it’s nice to know that you’re reflecting how you feel about yourself or, how at least you WANT to feel.

To be honest, walking around with a beautiful smile does more for a woman than an “on trend” outfit. Seriously. You can literally light up the world with a smile. I do this naturally and people smile back at me all day long wherever I go. It’s an amazing thing. You can’t buy that but it’s worth its weight in gold💖

Barn jackets I find them drab. Boat shoes no way. Tennis skirts? I like my shoulders and hair and I have long legs but I’m not showing them in that way. No thanks. I like the quiet luxury / no logo look. I invested in 5 purses last year from mid priced luxury brands. Not giving those up. Even tho the trends are flopping every two- three years now instead of every 5-10 years doesn’t mean I’m going to overhaul my wardrobe at that pace. I focus on quality over quantity / sillouhette and colors that suit me now that I’m in my 50s and I’ve seen all this come and go😊

I can’t help but wonder how tariffs are going to affect fashion. Probably not the wealthy, but middle class are definitely going to find the higher prices crippling in all areas.

Once I learned about the involvement of the fashion industry in the role of h@man/raffi@king, I was DONE. Balenciaga in particular- absolutely heinous. Its not unlike Hollywood- I no longer participate in supporting their very real agendas. Culturally, identity has been tied to brands and famous people. I know this is bummer for those who love fashion- which is not bad in itself- I consider myself an esthetic. The world we now are faced with, demands that we are conscious, critical thinkers. Being a present, caring, sober parent, neighbor and friend has never been more important. The fashion industry, modeling agencies is deeply entrenched in horrific things. Find a way to put "fashion" in its proper place. Protect our children. I will enjoy the very few minutes that my post will be visible.

I adore quiet luxury but I never thought it was really a trend. More a reaction to the logo excesses. However, it’s how I’ve always dressed and always will. Wearing equestrian or tennis clothes when you aren’t at the court or polo field just looks silly.

I hope that goes for men's fashion as well. But alas, I don't think the majority of men have the balls to break away from social norms & traditional masculinity.

Hey Ziba. I am glad to catch this latest video just as I am starting work. I never understood the appeal of boat shoes either. I feel they serve no real fashion use except to be "trendy." I also love a good sequin dress with a sexy slit that can show my legs and I can work them like the classic "Tootsie" dress that Dustin Hoffman wore in the film for a photo shoot. You take excellent care of your skin. I always drink a lot of water to keep my skin pure but I always feel that it can be a chore not just a given. Boho chic just doesn't work for me due to my large body frame even if I was to lose a lot of weight, it would not work. With lipstick, I am at times, a MAC user if I want a little luxury without going overboard. You make wearing lipstick so masterful! Another wonderful video! 😊🥰
