Where is the wrapped top in tip 2 from?
ОтветитьJohn 3:16, God bless ❤
ОтветитьThank you so much! This video is very helpful!🙌🏾
ОтветитьThe boxy t-shirt looks amazing though!
ОтветитьOk... How did those blazers look the same but also SO different!? 😯
Ответить"Wear what you want , just wear your size" My aunt once said this!
ОтветитьI’m a natural ingenue and my body type is incredibly similar to yours! Thank you for these videos, they’re inspiring and very helpful☺️
ОтветитьWait where did you get that beautiful peplum top
ОтветитьI have a true hourglass, I have a pretty large chest, small waist and round hips. I resent the idea that 'to look good' I have to show that off. I know this isn't what your video is about but I've never, not once, really wanted to empashize my curves, No deep meaning or reason but I just love oversize things. Are they the things that make me look the thinnest? Nope but I have a rule of thumb with clothes... if I put them on and I love the way I feel and look in it enough to do a little dance? That's what I am wearing and not once has that involved 'showing off my curves' which I feel is just such a HARD FAST rulñe for curvy women. In the end you're going to shine most in whatever feels good to you.
ОтветитьIn most of the examples the “wrong” was neutral and the “right” was always a sexualizing piece. Of course it will “embrace” your curves, as it’s meant to be a showy piece. I would like to see the same with modest attire, with clothing that are not meant to sexualize the body
Ответитьwhere is the velvet blazer from?? Or can you give a dupe??
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьPhenomenal style analysis!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful 😊
ОтветитьWhere is the peplum top from?
ОтветитьAfter some searching, I think I'm a dramatic (with some softness) for sure. Too tall to be a classic, 5ft 9, and notably lanky. My most prominent feature is my height, but I do have a quite defined waist. I find myself really loving pleated trousers that fit at the high waist and accommodate my hips/rear. A tucked in button-down and long coat finish the look off nicely. If I don't define my waist, I can pull off looking like a teenage boy (which I enjoy.)
ОтветитьThis describes me to a T.
ОтветитьPlease do more soft natural content 🙏
ОтветитьI feel like a very important caveat to this video is that these rules only apply to hourglass women who want to show off their curves. As someone who prefers a more masculine/androgynous look, I want to look more straight and angular so I often follow the opposite if these style “rules”
ОтветитьDoes this apply to a SN?
ОтветитьSoft classic! me too
ОтветитьThe other soft natural body type videos in the playlist are hidden... 😢 Please can you upload more videos about how to style soft naturals?
ОтветитьI'm a soft dramatic and the current oversized trend makes me feel horribly dumpy and I've always felt more comfortable in curve accomodating, more adjusted clothing. Thank you for these tips!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this!! Where did you get that dress, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for!
ОтветитьI always buy bottoms that fit the thighs, hips and then take them to a local tailor to get that snAtched waist.
ОтветитьThank-you Ellie! I actually think on you, the blue dress with puffed sleeve was stunning without the belt.
ОтветитьI just read something david kibbe said about theatrical romantics if ur ever styling one he said "you're at your most sophisticated when you seem to be dripping in diamonds" and literally idk if it fits into ur thing but I thought it was just everyone but if I wear a body chain like body jewelry that has some sort of crystal like looking part of it I LOOK MY BEST 100 PERCENT I LOOK BEYOND AMAZING like their aren't words for how my best I look :)
ОтветитьI did all these kibbe ID tests and I seemed to be a classic like I guess I don't know how to answer some questions. But omg the outfits Made me so miserable like literally I was like my painbody was so awakened if u know what that is. I was like I do not validate this whatsoever. And then I warmed up to it again and read about theatrical romantix some and then I realized oh maybe I do have this this this feature oh ya that sounds exactly like me and then I tried the outfits and I have a tiny waist and literally it made me ecstatic and I'm like I found the one isn't that the point that u look good I did not miss the mark on this one
ОтветитьSo a more simple rule is that we need to wear tight fitting clothes
ОтветитьHello! Anybody any insight on how I am a Flamboyant Natural in Kibbe (and a lot of the recs do work for me) but I am pretty curvy with my hips nearly as wide as my shoulders and a thin waist and very short arms? :D I think I do have Ingenue and Gamine Kitchener Essence in my blend, does that explains it?
ОтветитьI’m a theatrical romantic and it’s very, very, very hard to find good pants. I’m glad high-waisted bottoms made from soft, flowy fabric are back in fashion, but I feel best in flowy skirts. I suggest viscose: light, airy and NOT see through. Great for summer ❤
ОтветитьThank you this video was very educational for me
ОтветитьGreat explanations! I love videos like these, because as a more visual learner, I can see the concepts you teach 🙂
ОтветитьGorgeous in that dress!
ОтветитьAmazing video 🌹🌹
ОтветитьThoughts on color making us feel more comfortable when things are fitted? Darker colors fitted, lighter colors looser cuts? I know for me I used to wear black everyday for work and never had a problem, but nowadays if I wear a pink or a beige I always of sudden felt self conscious of maybe looking too provocative or other women treated me differently ( with disdain) . Otherwise wearing brighter colors maybe patterns when they’re more fitted it somehow works( camouflage)?
ОтветитьIt’s very difficult to go outside dressing with cute outfits when you are curvy and have and hourglass body. My hips are very wide and I have big breasts. I understand that the more the clothes reveal your shape, the better it looks, but it’s not easy to deal with the daily catcalling, the seggsualization, and the nasty looks… sometimes I wish I didn’t have all these curves. 😔
ОтветитьWhat if you are an hourglass with a front facing muffin top?
ОтветитьFab intro, lovely lady & thanks for the info!
ОтветитьThis was a very informational video dear Ellie! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьLoved your tips
ОтветитьI prefer the ‘before’ of the thumbnail and the angular T-shirts look good. You must have a lot of gamine?
ОтветитьGenius. If you are round and soft, buy something round and soft
ОтветитьI'm not sure if you identify your shape as hourglass, but I don't think your body shape is hourglass. Have you taken measurements and compared it to the ratio for hourglass? Your body shape looks more straight.
ОтветитьThis is a game changer. I'm 5'1" with curvy hips. THANK YOU!! :)
ОтветитьThank you for this video!! It's fantastic.
ОтветитьAm petite hourglass and big boobs so like this video not that I stick to this myself, am pregnant so this is all out the window atm 😂
Ответитьi can tell you enjoyed making this video and i love how your facial expressions varied; you look more happy and relaxed in clothes that were better suited for you! so true
ОтветитьWhere'd you get that dress Ellie?
ОтветитьI would love links to clothing items ❤️
