I usually use moving target on primary's and if possible opening shot on specials. Am i doing it wrong? Is moving targets strafe scalar and +10 aa more worth than the +range and +accuracy from opening shot?

I REALLY hope Snipers get an Anti-Champ artifact perk this season again, but probably not since they were the special weapon with anti-champ last season and seems breach launchers are anti-overload. I rolled Withering Gaze and Lone Wolf on the one I got, and I realize how well that works in solo stuff as I am primarily a solo player. Weaken for 1 Special bullet? Yes please.

I got a Sovereignty roll yesterday with demo+withering gaze... immediately enhanced it.

Amazing support weapon and if you get demo as I did it works well with facet of Dominance. You can weaken with the sniper and jolt with your arc nade.

Did I forget free reloads!? The Sovereignty orgin trait gives free reloads and if you roll this weapon with demo you also have another free reload option.

Sovereignty is the best sniper (because of these perks/traits) to pair with all bait/switch heavy weapons.

Grind for this role fellow Gardians and you will not be disappointed. 🍻

anyone know if withering gaze + explosive rounds apply the debuff on he splash damage too?

I just thought a synergy with this. One person can proc weaken for a prismatic gyrfalcon hunter to leech with collective obligation to spread to others. could have niche team comp in void surges

Don’t know if anyone has commented on deconstruct yet, but it returns one bullet in a five round mag ie extended mag, backup mag etc. Worth it for the extra vehicle damage I suppose but not for the sustained dps

I was a little sad to discover Withering Gaze didn't proc on Explosive Payload or Dragonfly splash damage hits, but I guess that would be too strong

I managed to get the new dungeon fusion rifle with withering gaze, its really nice

Does this kill buried bloodline? I feel like buried bloodline is essential a waste of an exotic slot.😢

My first drop I got the two options of Withering gaze or firing line in that column. Slickdraw in the other and chambered.

Off-subclass weaken from neutral is just cash money. Its a keeper.

Literally the first prime engram i opened this season gave me Snap shot and Opening Shot. My RNG has never been that good in Destiny lol.

Bring this into Trials and call it "Weaken Weekend".

I have a feeling Withering Gaze will a special and heavy weapon exclusive perk. Cause if any Primary gets this perk, it will be the best Support Primary. Full stop.
I'm imagining a Support Frame Auto that gives Void Overshields instead of healing, and has Whithering Gaze.
That would be power Creep.

i got a fluted lone wolf withering gaze/opening shot Handling MW
and a slick draw closing time/opening shot also with a handling MW ..

Lot of great new weapons and combos.
My favorite thing about this season is I can move items to and from the vault no matter what vendor I’m standing in front of.
