I can't put my finger on it, but either his choreography doesn't quite match Chen^e or he just hasn't quite got what Chen does, IMHO.

After some disappointing seasons after the last Olympics, Vincent's peaking at just the right time.
That big Skate America win over Nathan was just what he needed to convince himself he could do it on a big stage.
I hope both of them finish 1-2 in Beijing.
Realistically they both could skate at the next winter Olympics as well, but this is their physical peak right now.
How emotional it might be for two Chinese Americans vying for the Gold back in their Motherland, China.

I REALLY admire and am in awe of NC, and wish for him to achieve his ultimate competition goal! But, I really love VZ! He has such heart, which comes thru in every moment of his skating, and amazing challenging entries to his spins, such incredible energy in every step throughout this SP. His quads are just monsterous!! I wish for his fulfillment in his skating dreams and in all his life!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR HIS FULFILLMENT HERE IN THE SHORT!! 👏 🌟 👍

Great skater!!! It was so sad that he could not perform the short and full program at the 2022 Winter Olympics as he tested positive for Covid-19. Hope to see him again at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Love to watch him skate. Hope that he finishes his degree at Brown University. I am so proud of Nathan Chen for winning Gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Truly a spectacular performance and he looked so calm and relaxed. Hanyu would have won had he not attempted the Quad-Axle twice and fell. He is truly an outstanding skater---so smooth and poised.
