ОтветитьAdd a lighted magnifier!
ОтветитьI have to get a hem gauge. Thanks for sharing Tova.
ОтветитьI have always been a clothes pin gal but after seeing a bodkin in action, I think that will be $5 well spent.
ОтветитьA clapper is another one, works so well to set seams.
ОтветитьNever heard of the "hump jumper" before.
ОтветитьThe needle puller is new to me. I will have to look for one of those! My Bernina came with a "height adjustment tool" which is in effect an adjustable hump jumper. It is so handy for those lumpy spots.
ОтветитьI was really hoping to see something I don’t already have… I have both the small and drapery sized hem gauges. I love them! I guess I don’t need to buy anything else right now. My husband will be happy 🤣🤣🤣.
ОтветитьYou forgot a very important feature on that hump jumper. That tiny hole is what you used to help you insert your needle into your machine
ОтветитьFor garment sewers I recommend a tailor's panto-graph for buttonhole and button spacing everyone needs a tailor's clapper.
ОтветитьA pressing cloth , silk organza is nice and around $10. I love a awl too, again very reasonably priced.
ОтветитьPurely by coincidence, I have a button hole tool set in my Amazon cart right now. I was watching a garment sewing video a few days ago and realized that I didn't have this item in my sewing arsenal and would soon be needing one. I like the needle grabber and will be looking for one of those also. Thanks for another great video!
ОтветитьThese are great! Definitely need to get a pack of needle pullers ASAP.

ОтветитьTo add to the list- A pattern notcher! You can find them for a variety of prices but I’ve seen them sold for as low as $5. It’s literally just a rectangular hole punch, nothing fancy. It’s so so useful for when you have a paper pattern that’s too opaque to see the registration marks through to the other side. When you clip into the notches, you know exactly where your notches go when the pattern is flipped. It’s a very specialized tool and not exactly necessary but I can’t live without mine now
ОтветитьGreat list of additional tools we need in our arsenal! I, personally, need to add the buttonhole cutter. Thank you, Professor Pincushion 😊
