SGAY is one of the biggest floppers I have seen, every damn time he drives in the paint he is always looking for the damn foul and he plays and runs like he belongs in the WNBA, its hard and boring too watch him play.

The NBA and ESPN are an absolute FAIL, and Adam Silver should be fired. He enabled this soft-a** era of team-hopping and flopping entitlement, and as far as media coverage goes, has absolutely botched it with the ESPN deal where they keep talking only about Lebron and his circus the Lakers. Is it any wonder then that nobody's watching all the other up and comers. Lebron will go away in time, he's at the end of his clownshow, but man, Adam Silver, FFS, he needs to go.

There will never be a "next Jordan", but they need to find the new face of the league. I think you made a great point when dating that legacy media never talks about these up and comers. I wat hed the Lakers cause ibwanted to see them lose. I watched the Warriors, Celtics and Nuggets, hoping one of those teams would make it far. When they were eliminated i completely lost interest.

This is what is wrong with the league and why people don't watch. That wasn't a good game. It had excitement because of the nonsense that was allowed to perpetrate because the refs don't know what the hell they are doing. Anyone who watches basketball and understands the game cannot watch this garbage because the lack of consistent officiating or any at all makes this garbage unwatchable. If you watch the last 2-3 minutes of that game half of the players on the floor for Indiana should have been fouled out in that time stretch. Moving screens, egregious over hand checking and just plain running into players not being called is garbage. It highlights the lack of skill these bozos have and that the referees are most likely trying to influence game betting lines. The defense in the 80s and 90s was skilled and physical, this looks like over-aged YMCA defense with no movement of the feet at all. This is why the games in the regular season need to be played the same as in the playoffs so hopefully this garbage doesn't happen anymore but that will never happen because the attitude of the modern NBA athlete is that of a gay guy who is more concerned about feelings and what kind of stupid outfit they are going to wear that their boyfriend picked out to make them look like a middle school boy at age 34.

I am enjoying this year's playoffs so far but in my opinion the match up has effects on ratings. OKC is a better team than Wolves. Both have star power but uneven teams. However Indy and NY are practically even and there's a better narrative. Hali proving he is not overrated and Brunson can lift NY to title run, this series could go 7 but in WCF if things continue the way it has could be sweep or at least gentleman sweep if Antman doesn't become superman and get help from Randle.

I think that Adam Silver has finally realized they need to market someone other than older than dirt Lebron James and Steph Curry. I think that is why S.G.A. won the MVP this year when I honestly feel no player was more important to their team than the Joker simply because without the Joker Denver would be in the lottery and one of the very worst teams in the League. OKC would still be a mediocre play in tourny team without Alexander as he has a good lineup around him. Jokic honestly has a very poor over rated supporting cast that without him would struggle to win 20 games. But I think S.G. Alexander is the young guy that they will try to market as the new superstar of the League. He does deserve it! However Silver has resisted it until now simply because if you dont play on a large market team the league acts like you dont exist normally.

Those Ant-MJ comparisons are pure crap for so many reasons! 1. Never seen or heard MJ talking this much crap about the previous generations because he was smart enough to show respect even though he felt he was the greatest of them all! When others see you as the goat (and most did and still do) you don't have to convince anybody with stupid comments, you have done this through your game! 2. As once MJ said you don't trash talk when the game is over you do it when it is even or 0:0! Otherwise you show weak minded gloating you will be punished severely the next game! I would also add you don't trash talk when you can't back it up! And Ant did just that: put his best bs after the Wolves beat the Fakers and in that occasion that is a double crap because not only you weren't the leader and most constant player of your team throughout the series (it was by far Randell) but also because you keep embarrassing yourself on the court every other game! Shooting blanks from tons of threes and keep doing it is a sign of utmost stupidity and lack of any adjustment to your game! 3. Just because you express your energy on the court does not mean are closing games! Did MJ expressed his satisfaction for a good play: of course. But what made him great was the cold blooded instinct to just get the ball and get the things done without too much talking or any other bs! And we can add much more about playing style, skills, etc. but these imo are the most fundamental differences between the two of them. And until Ant learns to think before craps the next bs and behave like a grown up he will never be the face of the league!

This is probably the first year in decades that I'd be interested in a series, particularly okc vs Indiana. I think that would be a fantastic series. I agree the pacers/knicks series compares well to the old school games. I just don't wanna pay $200 for cable, and I just don't see any other affordable options. Guess I'll just hafta watch clips. Finding the next MJ isn't the answer because the NBA didn't find the original MJ. He was drafted like any other player. Same for Kobe and LeBron. What the NBA needs to do is fix the product itself by adjusting the rules and market the younger guys instead of talking about LeBron 90% of the time. Also, if you want people to be hype, there need to be RIVALRIES in the NBA. There are no current rivalries in the NBA like there are in the NFL, and this is partly the players' fault because most of them want to be friends with everyone.

There will never be another Michael Jordan. The game is so different from the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000 where there is defense, no flopping. Today’s players are lazy and crybaby. The word PROFESSIONAL doesn’t apply to all NBA players.
