Greece even with economic crisis is 2nd and gives more % of its GDP ( wtf ) .. higher than UK(2.12%) and Turkey (1.48%) which are hypothetically NATO greater allies ..

Your word is who you are. Too bad these EU countries don’t follow that practice. Lets add accountability and repercussions if said countries don’t meet the 2% GDP military spend requirements. Its that simple or maybe these countries governments simply don’t care about their military servicemen. Their mindset is to continue using cold war era technology which has been proven to be ineffective on the modern battlefield.

Greece had to replace 4 old submarines and that's not the only reason they spent so much money but also because Greek politicians and the German enterprises got some of the Greek tax payers money straight to their own pockets in the deal.
NATO should end because Europeans pay for their petrol and all NATO does it is to control oil reach countries on behalf of the American companies. Luxembourg only has 600 000 inhabitants they don't need that much petrol , do they ?
2% for our own armies or an European one , yes , for the American wars in the middle east it is about time that they start paying for it themselves.
2% to invest in military equipment made in Europe by European workers , yes , the Americans can sell theirs to other countries.

To put this in perspective the U.S. funds NATO to the tune of $687 billion while the UK provides about $55 billion, France $46 billion and Germany only $45 billion. The other countries contributions are not even worth mentioning. In addition, the U.S. provides 50+ billion in aid to about 200 other countries - which needs to stop. The U.S. has a failing infrastructure and its own citizens that need to be taken care of first and foremost.

A non increase in a net amount on a real term in a tax burden as Britain toward a NATO union instead of a European army or a national budget by a British goverment.
