New UberEats Update! What is Trip Radar? Worth it or Worthless?

Trip radar is garbage. After multiple declines they throw it in Trip radar. Then once no one takes it they say f it and throw it out to all the drivers again to be rejected yet again.

It’s always a the garbage orders no one wants. I don’t understand why it’s a “feature”. Just dispatch all rides like normal. Stop playing games.

If you accept an order on trip radar and you're the second best match and the first best match declines it, does that make you the best match by default?
If so, why not send it to the best match to start with like a regular delivery?

I did a trip radar and when I showed up to the restaurant the employee told me that 5 other people had showed up asking for the same order. And that the first person took it. Also, all the trip radar in my area has not been good at all. Like low pay or extremely far drive

I have seen an increase in trip radar in my area. Several times it has been an order I have already declined, showing at the same rate I already turned down. Then the same order might show a few minutes later with a small increase, and still not worth taking.

I think Trip Radar is orders that everyone has turned down. When they can't get anyone to accept to the order, they put it up on Trip Radar hoping someone would be stupid enough to take it. All my Trip Radar offers have been pure trash. I wish I could turn it off.

I have had trip radar for several months and have had no good offers on it, I think they only throw orders that no one has taken onto it,

trip radar = blasting out hot garbage orders to multiple drivers after those same multiple drivers have declined the shit order numerous times in hopes that if multiple people are offered the same order someone will take it bcs they dont want someone else to snag it. trip radar has been here for about a year and ive never seen an offer come in on it worth taking they're always hot garbage

This is why I don’t drive for Uber. How are they going to lie it’s 21 dollar for 8 miles and then end up paying you 6 dollars… screw that and them scamming their drivers. I also don’t drive for other platforms that reduce the pay amount afterwards. I refuse to be scammed and lied to. But to each their own I guess.

Landed in NYC about 2 weeks ago. Its best use is ONLY Friday Nights when the majority of the orders are triple stacks paying $27-30. Ive taken 2 trip radar orders last friday and ended up being $28 and $31. I always aim for the ones with the low miles (3-5miles) and avoid high mileage (6+). Other days I've taken either one or no trip radar orders. I do get matched about 80-90% of the time I choose an order.

The 10-20 % that are worth it, I generally get matched with it on trip radar about 3/4 of the time. Those orders seem to come out the same or better than the estimate. The other 80 % + are just annoying little mosquito orders.

TRIP RADAR SUCKS

Picked up a radar order for $19+. When I got to the restaurant, they said multiple drivers had already come to the restaurant to pick up the order and the order had been sent out already.

No thank you trip radar. Seems to me another way they're trying to occupy my attention. They're not paying me money for my attention!! So they are eating up my time and not compensating me! . If there's a way in the settings to make sure I see none of those trip radars I certainly will do it.

Trip radar - 53 minutes, 22 miles, $17. Lol

The that confuses me about Trip Radar is, whether I'm taking one order, or more than one. Sometimes I get a ($10 including estimated tip) payout, but then it says (58 minutes) for a 20KM ride.. how can it take 58 minutes for 20km (there was no traffic)? Is it the application that is miscalculating, or is it that I am accepting more than one offer?

I havent Been doing deliveries in a few months and I opened my app yesterday to get back out on the road , I mistakenly took a trip radar by mistake and had 3 orders to pick up and drop off , for $9 I was pissed

Been doing DD since Dec. Decided to try UE. They app seems much less user friendly than DD. Is it me or is UE really shady with their stacked orders. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but you only see one store & one delivery point. Seems the map doesn't show up with these orders. Thoughts...

I received an order for trip radar, There was no accept button,so I tried to flick it down to remove it and it accepted it.

I’ve been getting TripRadar orders for the past six month or so. ALL of them have been total and complete garbage. As in, $8 to drive 20 miles, $7 to go 12 miles, even $6 to go 30 miles! Or at the very least $15 to go 11 miles. Nope. All garbage. I’ve even watched some of these garbage orders disappear before my eyes because another driver took them! Why?!?!?!?
It’s already infuriating that such BS is being sent out at all….but then…someone stupidly took the order?!?!? Effin’ what?!?!? No!
After all these months, I’ve never ever seen a “trip” that wasn’t complete and total garbage. Not once.

Trip radar has been horrible for me atleast. Every single one I’ve had has taken me 20 to 28 minutes out and pays crap. And the tips are basically non existent. Terrible feature especially for newbies like me.

Radar is garbage, I went on vacation for a week came back and now deal with nonsense. Don’t send me an order if you’re not giving it to me!

25th June 2024 and I've just had an email here in New Zealand to say it's launching here today.

First I've heard of it so I'll see how it goes. Great to watch your video and learn about it.
