Part five of my direct appeal to the CEO of UPS for justice. A contract is supposed to protect both parties, but UPS's allows them to knowingly overcharge shipping customers. UPS wildly overbilled Linentablecloth.com for packages with wacky dimensions that couldn't even fit into their trucks or planes, and UPS billing for phantom packages never given to them or shipped (yes, UPS does this). UPS refused to investigate the overbilling, then kept the money Linentablecloth had overpaid and then shut off the shipping accounts. Then to add insult to injury, UPS sued for the remaining balance they knew they were not entitled to. Millions were spent by both Linentablecloth and UPS in court. Unfortunately for us, with UPS' unlimited legal funds and a powerful, influential law firm as their attack dogs, Linentablecloth did not prevail, even though the jury wanted us to, but their hands were tied by court rules. The owners of Linentablecloth are now trying this case in the court of public opinion. We will win this battle because truth is on our side.
