Thank you and congratulations M. Levin...
ОтветитьI think the host of this podcast cares too much about the lingo and gets hung up on the trivial language rather than the bigger picture
ОтветитьWe can relate his talk about randomness and emengented properties to DNN and quanten effects in quanten physics - biology on small scale is quanten physic - his research proved it.
ОтветитьNobel Prize worthy epiphanies from one guys lab (team) experiments. Bio electrics to help reverse cancerous cells, regrowing limbs with electro-suticles, multiple layers of intermolecular biological “consciousness” Why isn’t this news everywhere, it’s mind blowing to learn so much about matter and cellular life.
ОтветитьThe host comes off as aggressive and antagonistic at times. Besides that though, this was a great interview.
It's always great to hear more from dr. Michael levin. He's definitely one of the greatest minds of our time.
I am always having fights with people who want to put everything in a box, including me and even including "Infinity".
ОтветитьYou should get Michael Levin and Dennis Nobel to sit and talk
ОтветитьIs a maser program? If so where is it? I suspect there is something more to reality than what it appears to be. Thanks for this very informative and thought provoking video.
ОтветитьA hollow artificial leg, that helps regrow a new leg soaking in a bioelectrical solution?
ОтветитьI had been a minute... man do I love Curt's interviews. Feels like it is getting better and better
ОтветитьThe concept of collective intelligence in cells, particularly in the field of electrobiology, touches on a fascinating intersection of quantum biology, physics, chemistry, and biomedical science. Cells, in an electrobiological context, communicate and function as interconnected systems, using electrical signals to coordinate processes such as metabolism, growth, and repair. This cellular communication hints at a collective intelligence where the behavior of individual cells aggregates into coordinated biological outcomes.
At the quantum biology level, processes like electron transfer, proton tunneling, and quantum coherence are thought to play significant roles in cellular functions. For example, in photosynthesis and cellular respiration, quantum effects help optimize energy transfer efficiency, a process critical to life at the smallest scales. These quantum phenomena may also extend to neural signaling and the electrical behavior of tissues, suggesting that cells utilize quantum principles to process and respond to information faster and more efficiently than classical mechanisms alone would allow.
In physics, the study of bioelectromagnetic fields focuses on how cells generate and respond to electromagnetic waves, with electrical signals facilitating communication both within and between cells. This aligns with chemistry through ion channel regulation, membrane potentials, and molecular interactions that are governed by electrochemical gradients, essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis.
In biomedicine, understanding these intersections opens possibilities for new therapies. For instance, bioelectric medicine leverages the body's electrical signals for healing, while quantum biology insights could lead to innovations in drug delivery, cancer treatment, or even regenerative medicine. Collectively, the interplay of quantum physics, biochemistry, and electrodynamics forms a foundation for advanced research into how cellular intelligence and communication networks shape health and disease.
We know that everything in the universe, including us are electricity so there is no such thing as separate. I heard bioelectricity mentioned, but nothing on biomagnetism. We know the two go hand-in-hand, and humans are affected by it. C.M.E from the Sun and possibly unknown until this year, the 'sentient' Kordylewski plasma clouds, seem to tie in with evolutionary changes,
ОтветитьHi Curt,
It would be amazing to see a conversation between Denis Noble and Michael Levin on your channel! Noble’s work on systems biology and evolution, alongside Levin’s research into bioelectricity and regeneration, would make for a fascinating discussion on how life operates beyond just genetics. It’d be a great opportunity to dive into how organisms actively shape their own development and evolution.
Levin mentioned Dennis at the beginning of the conversation like if he is begging to work together.
Regards
I'm certainly going to have to watch this more then once to digest all the profound things Michael is saying. Mindbending stuff
ОтветитьMichael levin is a man that doesnt experience low self esteem when he learns something new. Iron on iron he grows stronger. Thats foundational power in his education 👏
ОтветитьI can answer that question I’m sure on the seventh, but I’m not looking my brother was

ОтветитьSet by logic logic that you can follow in the gaps, you have to know what’s true before you play the game. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Logic is wisdom, and you have no fear of God will let see I feel and I wanna be friends do you?
ОтветитьThis is the challenge
ОтветитьI’m putting together the Tesla team on the captain. I’m talking to you in a port hole in my really badly design and constructed iPhone. I call her the same thing I used to call my wife, but I’m The world’s best beta tester and that’s why I’m the captain of the team that’s gonna win. I don’t know I’m gonna make you the guys I pick to win the whole thing andfour years at the Olympics and I made the reservations at isn’t that because I built a place
ОтветитьLogic
ОтветитьAnd or not
That is the question and the answer

Consciousness isn’t emergent, It’s transcendent. The body is an AVATAR with a quantum interface in the brain.
ОтветитьAll matter is fractal or perhaps holographic.
ОтветитьListening to these two, sensing (in real time) the expansion of my understanding of reality. Many thanks to Michael Levin. Amazing work. Great podcast Curt. Keep doing what you’re doing
ОтветитьAmazing high IQ interview! 👏
ОтветитьBig pharma will swoop in snatch up all that research put a patent on it jack up the price and make it unaffordable to the average person
ОтветитьI wish i knew what the hell these guys are talking about because it sounds like it might be pretty fucking awesome.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьOne principle that could be derived given the consideration to embedded agent drive is that all mechanisms must follow a power law allowing for scale invariance.
ОтветитьAs usual, always interesting and in the meantime, I still have to take my "collective-self" to work, come home, do my chores, enjoy the weather rain or shine, and hopefully have time for a nap so I'm not so cranky, all somehow driven by that indifferent self-perpetuating life-force mechanism, yep, makes perfect sense given the scope and scale of the universe and my little part in it. 🤪
ОтветитьAmazing.
This has so much potential
Amazing 🤩
Thank you for this!🙏🏻❤️
Decentralised
ОтветитьDiffering levels of true? I see erstwhile intelligent people trying to rationalize skating on thin ice. As a kid we were introduced to the “theory” of evolution. So far I still see that to be so. Folks base their lives on insisting it has gone from theory to fact. That is ‘skating on thin ice’. Introducing various explanations for cellular divergence is attempted because skating on the original premise of cell division for example broke through the ice....didn’t hold up. To continue skating spreading your load of explanation to a number of approaches doesn’t alter the thin ice. Cellular development in mammals for instance is division of original cell after conception. At a given very acute point the dividing of cells into specific roles occurs. Bone cells differ from blood organ skin cells obviously but the emerging bone cell production for example is ultra complex due to the need for scalp bones, leg bones to be very basic and different to ocular construct. The process is code reliant involving architecture chemistry physics and all this in a human for example in only 9 months. Are we defining how an airplane flies whilst already up there? It flies (flys) and clearly was designed to. But design requires mechanism testing optimising. But it is flying. An Airbus or Boeing has been very carefully designed and built and we all put ourselves and families onto them without a clue of the aerodynamics avionics etc. To introduce a theory of how an airplane was built means questioning something already working successfully. Airplanes were designed. Constructed. Developed. Why is that so hard to accept? Slime became a slug became a salamander became flying reptile became a......please don’t go there. An ugly short smelly ape became an Audrey Hepburn because of some distant similarities? No way. You are on thin ice which is why a “new discovery throws new light on the origins of life” is broadcast regularly in Scientific literature. Constant amendments because it seems to be slightly thicker ice till we can......you are on thin ice. Time to go back to firm ground of real science real math real physics and chemistry wherein we rely upon known laws governing them.
