Located at the center of the international business district within Songdo International City, Songdo Central Park was designed to reuse rainwater effectively and reduce the heat island effect as much as possible. It is also the first city in Korea to make a lakeside park using seawater. Visitors can enjoy a water taxi ride on the man-made waterway. The nearby accommodations and shopping mall make it a popular vacation destination.
Songdo Central Park has water sports activities available at the boat houses located on the East and West ends of the park. Activities include water boats, kayak, water taxis and more.
