Ive trained with a few Bulgarians and one Spetz. The average troop is not impressive at all. They seldom have enough resources to get alot of repetitive training. The Spetz.....they are scary. They will do pretty much anything to win....and they are really tough.

I have had a privilege to talk with a finnish WW2 veteran about trench storming. (confirmed kills = many) Two lessons I learned from him:
1) You can not have too much hand grenades with you. (and also back then it was very desirable to have a submachine gun instead of a rifle, because our poor governement could not equip everyone with automatic guns)
2) You can not hesitate in any moment. Trust for the guy next to you is crucial. Too introvert men lost their life in those years at the frontlines against russians.

From my (finnish) military training point of view, this is pure evolution. We all humans learn the ways to keep us alive in any conditions. Glory to all ukraine fighters! I suppose though, the russians are acting likewise. They also are human beings, evolving to survive. I truly hope this war to end. Without embarrassing the heroes of Ukraine... And if for political reasons this will happen, we are ready in Finland. Welcome.

Notice the start of battle is just before daybreak. By the time fighting concludes, the sun has risen. It probably took them half an hour at least to clear that trench.

this makes me so thankful I live in a country not currently at war nor do I think will be at war anytime in my lifetime Its also very unlikely I’d be drafted because I have autism anxiety disorder take a ton of meds and have dexterity problems in my hands although I’d still try to defend my country in whatever capacity I could but I highly doubt they would want me raiding trenches
